Breyer retiring

It's done in a different way but it's almost like a TDAK mindset. Leaving aside he's a one trick pony troll he openly states black people are inferior. Yet here you are in a certain way saying the same thing, that a black woman isn't capable of being subjected to what everyone else on the court had to go through.

I’m absolutely not saying she’s incapable.

:eek2: Tell us how you really feel, DU. :D

Much more evil thoughts. ;)

BTW, I was researching about the normal range of thoughts about killing someone else a few days ago. Yes, it's acceptable within a limit of both action and target. It's one thing to think about killing one's boss and another to think about a family member. Then there's the "kill the political opposition" thoughts.

Would I pay to see Trump thrown off a 10 story building? But only if they were going to do it anyway. LOL

Will I applaud when he's dead? Yes. Will I be the only one happy to see him gone? I strongly doubt it.

Who decides the rankings of "best choice?" Nobody Biden picks is going to be a best, or even a good choice for repubs.

It depends upon the pool of qualified applicants.

Although businesses vary, a common hiring practice for a technical, management or other high qualification job is to set the requirements high enough to limit applicants to a manageable number but low enough to allow a good selection pool.

There's a big difference when there only 10 qualified people in the nation versus 1000. In this case, there are about 650 Federal judges in the US. All have been vetted by Congress at least once. Taking only the top 5% still yields 32+ judges. Certainly all are qualified for the position of Justice or they wouldn't be in the top 5%.

I'll leave it to the experts to set the criteria for selection as long as the process is open....which it will be just like when watching Kavanaugh commit perjury on television.

EDIT: my math is wrong because there's over a 1770 federal judgeships thus over twice as many selections.

What if she is the first place choice?

Again, it’s absolutely time qualified women are considered, and most especially qualified women who aren’t white.

I agree they should be considered, but not nominated if they're not the best choice.

Only the best choice should be nominated.

Furthermore in this genre of doing things..

The best choice would be who would uphold the Constitution as the Founding Fathers intended the best.

Not some progressive commie POS. You know, like Biden nominated to be in charge of the banking system? (Did not pass GO, did not collect $200)

His track record is not looking good..

No, but I did just have thoughts of slicing your penis off and shoving it into your surprised mouth.

As a relatively non-violent heterosexual man, I have never had such stray thoughts. Maybe you should get some sort of mental help. Not for the homosexuality, but for the violent fantasies.

Hello cawacko,

That has nothing to do with what I wrote. ...

BS

You wrote: "His poll numbers are already low, select anyone but a black woman and you'll see true tanking."

That begs questioning whether the tanking is true or bloviated.

It also generates curiosity as to what effect nominating a black woman to the SCOTUS would have on his polls.

Tanks for bringing it up... :)
