You must refuse illegal orders!

Good job for finding an article from Fox News.

Oh look I can find an article too on what a former military lawyer says!

Oh look! Rachel VanLandingham says for the most part what I've said. Nowhere in that interview does she show a case of the current administration issuing an illegal order. She gives a couple of examples of illegal orders from actual cases, and she makes a partial mistake here saying this:

We have the speech and debate clause, which provides for immunity from civil and criminal prosecution for activities that legislators do as lawmakers, and it provides protection for more than just their activities while they're speaking on the Senate or congressional floor. It has to do with their duties related to being a lawmaker, and Senator Kelly made this video in his duties as a lawmaker.

If the highlighted part is true, then why did Kelly, and every other senator in that video mention their military rank and service? That argues that Kelly was leveraging his military rank and service as part of the message, in effect saying, I'm a retired Navy Captain, and a Senator, and you need to refuse to obey illegal orders... That conflates his role as a senator and as a military officer into the message.

How do you know, are you psychotic... err, psychic, or something? What purpose was intended in sending this message. Those producing it have no examples of Trump or the administration issuing clearly illegal orders. Questionable ones don't rise to "illegal."

Therefore, what was the intent of this message? I'd say it was intended to sow doubt in the military's top leadership.

It is YOU that is the "fucktard" here. You hate Trump so much that you can't see the issues with congressmen putting out a public message to the military that they should question orders coming from the top of their chain of command.
I watched their message, stupid fuck. They never said he had issued an illegal order. That’s merely the cockeyed twist you and your cult are trying to create.

Fucking cultist morons. You sad fucks have abandoned all ability at critical thought.

This is an example. She mentioned Venezuela.

Also Trump violated the Posse Comitatus Act in California.
well, the video is crap.......meaning that they did NOT discuss what is and isn't legal/illegal. Are the Venezuelan strikes illegal? every president in the past has done something similar and been either supported or exonerated.......even Obama.

Now, you might have a case with Posse Comitatus, as i've tried to iterate many times...........we'll have to see what happens. I say that with the experience and knowledge that the American people are extremely fickle about giving leeway to presidents when their own safety is considered. The whole 'ends justifying the means' crap

What is wrong with stating their services? They are telling them soldier to soldier, reminding them of their duty.

Had the D and R been reversed, I am positive that you would see nothing wrong with it.

Exactly my point. They made it clear they were talking about the current administration, and Trump, then stated that it was the military's duty to refuse to obey illegal orders.

What purpose did that message serve? Military members already know they should refuse illegal orders, so clearly restating that serves no purpose. Why did 6 DEMOCRAT senators make a message about refusing to obey illegal orders? What purpose and message did that serve?

I see. Now you go from “what illegal order did Trump issue?” to this. I can hear the “beep beep” of backup sounds from here.

Yep. They reminded the viewer of the law. Why? Trump is constantly using our institutions to violate constitutional rights and abuse his official powers.

Bitch all you want, cultist. They exercised their constitutional rights. Lawfully. Legally. It really is tough shit that you don’t like it.

Cry a fucking river, cultist snowflake.

Here, let me make it clear: What illegal order(s) did Trump issue? That clear enough for you?
Yep. They reminded the viewer of the law. Why? Trump is constantly using our institutions to violate constitutional rights and abuse his official powers.

Why did they bother to do that and include specifically comments relating that to the current administration?

Pretty thin ice you're skating on.

Akin to Abu Ghraib and the Malay massacre.

Does anyone here disagree American troops should be required to follow illegal orders?

Disobeying an unlawful order is required by law!
Really, I'm sure you're proud of yourself for getting that concept instantly. Impressive as it is, imagine how easy it is for someone without their head buried in his ass. Ask anyone in the service if they were trained repeatedly what 'unlawful orders' are and that there is no excuse for following them such as 'round up everyone named Jarod and shoot them' Sorry you can't say, 'I was just following orders.'

Every last scumbag in that video knows exactly what they’re doing, and they’re grinning while they do it. They admit they can’t name one single unlawful order, yet they still smear the Trump admin for “legal jujitsu” on the boat strikes and tagging the cartels as terrorists, then turn to the camera and purr, ‘We’ve got your back.’ Translation: hey kid, if you disobey a lawful order to smoke a cartel speedboat or drop the hammer on a narco-terrorist stronghold, the Democrat machine will totally ride in to save you. Total lie.

They’re deliberately planting that tiny seed of doubt in every young troop’s head, just enough hesitation in a firefight to get good men killed. And the second the bodies hit the deck? Jackpot. Instant fundraising gold for a party that’s hemorrhaging cash. They’ll plaster the disobedient private’s face on every donor email for a week, rake in millions, then ghost him the moment the cameras turn off.

He’ll rot in Leavenworth while they cash the checks, because to these ghouls, American lives are just expendable props in their endless war to claw back power. Ends justify the means, always has, always will. Human sacrifices to the cause are just the cost of doing business.

Where did they mention Trump in the video?

To let them know they got them on their back.

BTW what is the purpose of making the word "Democrat" big and bolded?

I can see how a stupid person reading my post might take that away but a smart person reading my post would see i said nothing like that. Not even close.

My statement had NOTHING to do with how often illegal orders are given.

The reason military academies, police academies and law schools all teach that has nothing to do with the frequency of the illegal orders given.

You really need to try and be a less stupid person.

Trump is consistently pushing people around him to partake in illegal activities on his behalf which resulted in his first administration and Campaign team having more indictments and convictions than all other Presidential campaigns combined.

Reminding the service people who work for him that 'follow orders' will not save them from indictment and conviction so they should remember their duty to obey the law and not follow any orders that would see them break it, is just sound advice.
What illegal order? What illegal activity?
