You use 'middle class' in a way not known to the rest of the world. The real division is the vast majority working class who do the work and the very small group of very rich who control everything and produce nothing.

If those greedy workers would just work for $5 an hour...everything would be much, much better for American businesses.

But those greedy bastards want to live in houses and eat food and go to doctors when they are sick. They actually want their kids to go to schools...and to have clothes.

Southern plantation owners would never have put up with that nonsense from their workers during the mid-19th century. That's for sure.
