Trump drives GM out of the United States.

Kid, out here in the real world you either work for a wage or live off others. Grow up.

Congratulations on answering a question no one has asked. :hand:

And condescendingly pretending to inform the people who don't espouse ludicrous, time-disproven ideologies on how the "real world" works for correcting your economically illiterate assertions might not be laughed at quite so vigorously if your ideas didn't boil down to a delusional adolescent tantrum against reality and weren't responsible for more mass murder and suffering (by far) than any other in history.

Speaking of the need to "grow up."

Companies make decisions everyday in an effort to make money. Decisions are made to downsize, grow, go out of business, layoffs etc. Every year hundreds of companies big and small make decisions to lay-off/fire employees. Every president has had companies lay-off employees, go out of business or leave the country during their watch.

Carrier Corp. (UTC) had planned to close the entire Indiana plant. Instead of eliminating all five production lines, they only eliminated two.

Trump must have caused the downfall of Carrier in Syracuse. Right
In the late 70s Carrier in Syracuse employed about 7,000. Which president caused the downfall of Carrier in Syracuse.

After 124 years in business New Process Gear closed its doors. At one point they employed 4,000. They closed their doors in 2012 during the Obama years. Of course Obama is to blame or maybe we can somehow blame Trump.

In 1993 the GM plant in Syracuse closed down. There were 1,300 jobs lost. Of course Clinton is to blame unless we can somehow blame Trump.

What on earth are you waffling about?

Someone needs to crack open a dictionary before trying to use multiple-syllable words. "Waffling" means failing to make up one's mind. Way to make yourself look like an uneducated douche. LOL :hand:

My great-grandfather was the Last Liberal in my family

Meaningless drivel unrelated to anything anyone is saying. Try to pay attention long enough to form linear thoughts that actually connect to something.

the 'constitution'

Why do you put the word Constitution in quotes? Are you implying that it doesn't actually exist? And it's supposed to be capitalized, oh enlightened one. ;)

your slave-owning masters

Time for an introductory lesson in civics for the embarrassingly uneducated: The Founders giving us a Constitution that can be amended actually makes the system they created the first in the modern world that wasn't some form of tyrannical master-slave relationship. It changed the world and transformed much of it into some form of representative government.

And how dare the Founders not divide everyone while we were fighting to liberate ourselves from literally the most advanced and lethal military on the planet to also simultaneously pick a fight on slavery?

Might be time to lay down the crack pipe and open a book or twelve.

set up when they went over to the national enemy, French autocracy, to avoid paying taxes

Translation: Getting one autocrat to aid and fund your liberation against your mutual enemy, another autocrat, is somehow treasonous tax-evasion. Dude. Seriously. Just stop talking. You look like a complete fool right now. LMAO

When we abolish capitalism, obviously.

Removing the ideology that revolves around merit, work ethic, and self-reliance (capitalism) and replacing it with one that punishes success and rewards failure (socialism) will reduce freeloading? Just in case there was anyone left who doubted my claim that liberalism revolves entirely around an inability to learn from history and to comprehend human nature, this is Exhibit A.

Thanks for demonstrating.

It is much more likely that a "simple-minded amateur" would say, "You are a simple-minded amateur" to someone else.

Keep digging if you want...but you already are in way over your head, Son.

The devastating Frank Apisa two-step:

1) "I know you are, but what am I?"

2) Act tough and be condescending, while refuting nothing.

Name a time in history in which your economic ideas preformed as you claim they will?

I have asked this of many of your stripe and NEVER received an answer

And on and on and on. I don't know anything about liberals, kid. They exist, even in America, only under a misreading of your 'constitution'. :)

What on earth are you waffling about? My great-grandfather was the Last Liberal in my family, and the 'constitution' your slave-owning masters set up when they went over to the national enemy, French autocracy, to avoid paying taxes, are none of my concern.

you have to forgive iolo......being one of those You-a-peon posters and he somehow thinks we have to use his lingo......over there liberal means slightly less conservative.......you aren't on the left until you propose the violent overthrow of capitalist mongrelism.......

It's not just about labor law. Workers banding together in order to collectively bargain is IMO a necessary act in a capitalist economy.

Only for shitty workers. Producers like me just knock on the door of the boss's office, tell him how its going to be, or else. I've quit every job I've ever had at the detriment of my former employer.

If you were that good they wouldn't have let you quit.

Its not all or none. Times have changed- we have labor laws. The time has long passed where unions are needed.

When your masters succeed in union=busting completely you will very soon not have 'labor' or any other laws: you'll just do as you're told according to trumpf's 'Constitution', lick boots and be glad they're not arses, then eat up your nice grass as mommy told you to! :)

It's never a good idea to walk into your boss's office and say something like 'Employer X has offered me more money. Will you match it?' I've seen guys do that, get the raise to keep them on during a crunch, and then as soon as things slow down fire his ass. Employers value loyalty "bigly".

Instead what I've done is tell them that It's time for my promotion and this is why. A large company that I worked for responded by giving me a double promotion, but I had already decided to move on due to other concerns that were far beyond my ability to change, even at that new position, so I lasted another 6 months and then I was gone.
