Trump drives GM out of the United States.

We were told by Conservatives this time last year that if we cut GM's taxes from 35% to 21%, they would create jobs and raise wages.

You use 'middle class' in a way not known to the rest of the world.

Um, no. The only people who can't survive economy-killing liberal policies are those who aren't super-rich enough to withstand the blow of all the taxation, over-regulation, etc., being heaped on top of them (i.e., the Middle Class, aka small business owners and decently successful people), regardless of what your spoon-fed class warfare propaganda tells you. Leftist policies obliterate the Middle Class and turn it into the Working Class.

The real division is the vast majority working class who do the work and the very small group of very rich who control everything and produce nothing.

Except, this lunatic communist rhetoric doesn't match even vaguely with reality. In fact, if I go to school as a Middle Class white male, I will get denied financial aid while poverty-level minorities with lower grades go to school for free. Same with hiring for jobs. You are given every opportunity to succeed and elevate your standing, including discriminatory opportunities that you shouldn't even have.

And still you wallow in petty, vindictive envy over others daring to have more than you...those who take all the risks, create all the jobs, and innovate everything that you lazy, entitled snowflakes (who can't ever seem to comprehend human nature or learn from history) crap all over while demanding more nanny state handouts at everyone else's expense.

Yeah.

And if the greedy bastards would only work for $4 an hour...it would benefit the companies and all the people they hire even more. Right?

I agree with you. The problem lies with the greedy bastards who put food, shelter, clothes, kids, education...and crap like that ahead of working for as little as possible.

We are on the same side on this, Arminius.

Repeating this Neanderthal posturing won't validate your point. It just makes you look like a simple-minded amateur at debate.

Try again.

Some of us recall why unions arose in the first place. Murderous corporate thugs/mercenaries and shooting wars come to mind.

Back before federal laws existed to cover everything that unions were created to protect (child labor laws, 40-hour work week, etc.), sure. All unions exist for now is to make seniority more important than performance, to make it impossible to fire lazy incompetents, and to force employers to pay people three times what their labor is worth out of pure greed.

We are reaching a point in predatory capitalism's evolution wherein it doesn't need humans any longer to "create" wealth for extraction, concentration and redistribution to the extent it once did. The aristocracy no longer sees the masses as a necessary evil, merely an evil they no longer have to allow to exist, which could turn on them at some point as the economic system and the environment proceed into further decay.

A little clarification for the economic illiterates who want to repeat the horrors of the time-disproven disaster that is communism.

I do not look like a simple-minded amateur. In fact I do not look simple-minded nor amateurish at all.

I am a competent discussion partner...with people intent on having a discussion. People like you, who are more interested in posturing than in discussing, may think otherwise. You are wrong.

You are the one suggesting that labor is the problem.

I'm agreeing with you...not because I actually agree with you, but rather to show you that your position is that of a horse's ass.

It seems to be working.

You obviously are getting the message.

Exactly what a simple-minded amateur would say.

It is much more likely that a "simple-minded amateur" would say, "You are a simple-minded amateur" to someone else.

Keep digging if you want...but you already are in way over your head, Son.

When they cut MacD's workers wages to less than minimum wage, is when even MacD's shift bosses start to thing about unions. Too late! In China they do it for less than a buck an hour.

Darling, please. We all recall Dons spleechs and blather on jobs and manufacturing. No we’re casting off americans like Don casts off friends and appointees he’s done using rather than face the truth.

This lie seems to be a canned response for you. Chanting this like a Mantra does not make it true.

Kid, out here in the real world you either work for a wage or live off others. Grow up.

The solution to this is the exact opposite of what class warfare-obsessed leftists propose. If we were following the Constitution (keeping the Federal Government limited to the very few, narrowly-defined things it was actually authorized to intervene in), private citizens accumulating wealth would not enable any of them to purchase influence...because the Federal Government still wouldn't be able to do anything beyond national defense, dealing with foreign governments, etc. Hence, the 1% (who get handed total control by leftist policies) would still control nothing but their own property, and the poor could go back to accumulating wealth themselves (rebuilding the middle class, which liberal policies deliberately obliterate). The rich getting richer only hurts people when they are able to use that wealth to rig the system by purchasing abusive power (i.e., when we are not following the Constitution).

Your policies literally maximize the very thing you pretend to be against.

Conservatives and leftists both oppose oppression and enslavement. The difference is that liberals are too stupid (specifically, that they are too incapable of comprehending human nature or learning from history) to realize that the time-disproven train wreck policies they advocate merely rearrange which one-percenters to whom everyone is enslaved.

What on earth are you waffling about? My great-grandfather was the Last Liberal in my family, and the 'constitution' your slave-owning masters set up when they went over to the national enemy, French autocracy, to avoid paying taxes, are none of my concern.
