Rep. Abigail Spanberger (VA-D) - Never use the words 'socialist' or 'socialism'

Who will win the Democratic civil war?

Those idiots, like yourself, are a minority of screamers, rock throwers and murderers. Most Americans are much more civilized and less concerned about forcing their will upon others as you and other political extremists seek to do.

The only difference between you and the far Left is polarity. It doesn't matter if Americans grab the positive lead of a 220v system with their left hand or their right hand, if they are grounded, they will hurt themselves. Best not to be so extreme and use caution when working with high voltage electricity or changing the rights of Americans.

dude, LIBERTARIAN. that means LEAVE PEOPLE THE HELL ALONE!!!!!

Scalia disagrees with you. In a controlling decision.

Scalia was just a big government conservative who prefers government power over the peoples freedom to control government by force, if necessary. when that decision came out, I eviscerated Scalia and his bullshit originalism.

Socialism does not exist. The label is used to scare rightys. It works very well. Not allowing the wealthy to confiscate the profits and not pay taxes is, not socialism. Helping the people who need it is not socialism. We have the worst wealth gap in the world, worse than it was in the gilded age. Let's do right by the people. We just keep giving money to the wealthy.

welcome to crony capitalism, brought to you by the last 80 years of democrats and republicans.

The Republican party waged a civil war on itself, the battle for the soul of the GOP beginning in the mid-90s. The result was the Party of Trump.

Now the Democratic party is in the beginning stages of a civil war of its own. Like inside the GOP, it's a battle between moderates and extremists. The extremists won in the Republican civil war. Who will win the Democratic civil war?

During a three hour Democratic caucus call Rep. Spanberger said “We need to not ever use the word ‘socialist’ or ‘socialism’ ever again. . . . We lost good members because of that.....If we are classifying Tuesday as a success . . . we will get fucking torn apart in 2022.

I agree with Spanberger.

An angry dispute erupted among House Democrats on Thursday, with centrist members blasting their liberal colleagues during a private conference call for pushing far-left views that cost the party seats in Tuesday’s election that they had worked hard to win two years ago.

Follow the latest on Election 2020
The bitter exchange, which lasted more than three hours as members sniped back and forth over tactics and ideology, reflected the extent to which the 2020 campaign exposed simmering tensions in the party even as its presidential nominee, Joe Biden, stands on the brink of achieving their biggest goal of the year — ousting President Trump.

Party leaders had expressed certainty that Trump’s divisiveness and mishandling of the pandemic would help them expand their majority with wins in GOP-held districts — and yet they lost at least a half-dozen seats and failed to retake the Senate. The explanation laid out by centrists, according to multiple people who were on the call and spoke on the condition of anonymity, is that Republicans were easily able to paint them all as socialists and radical leftists who endorse far-left positions such as defunding the police.
...

Every single Progressive kept their seat while the Dems who abandoned the FDR roots of the party lost theirs. This Spanberger woman just gave away and squandered more of what should be the Dem message, which is upward mobility, democracy, income equality, the very things which have been achieved thru SOCIAL programs, institutes and policy. Clueless, spineless woman, tool of the corporate masters is what she is.

Take a look at the chart to see which Dems prevailed...

chart.jpg

Notice a pattern?

The corporate owned MSM never ever defines the word they demonize the most for obvious reasons. We all use and partake in SOCIALISM every single day and the corporate-owned Dems will help deliver another Trump down the road because they are no longer a party that represents the people. The current Dem party is not an opposition party and all they offer now is..."We are not Trump".

80% of the American people support Progressive policies such as Med4All but neither party is delivering. Is that representative government to you?

"The Great Prosperity" did not come about by funneling money to the top which is what we have being done now by both parties. Wake up! You are being played and with corrupt lobbyist written policies that are failing the people and has taken the USA from being number one in upward mobility in the industrialized world to a shameful number thirty four. It took a pandemic to draw the curtain back on what a failed state the USA is. A for profit healthcare system in the richest country in the world where during a pandemic people are being evicted. Pathetic! But don't use the word SOCIALISM because that is the word of the devil himself and causing all the problems. Give me an effing break!

Yes, it exists in Venezuela (bring food) and Socialism is the control of goods and services. Just a step below Communism. the ownership of goods and services.

It exists big time in the Socialist Democrat Party. You had a Socialist running for the presidency, you and the the rest of the far left loons in the Socialist Democrat Party would have voted for him, had he won the

Primaries. You know it and we know it.

Wealth gap was the worst under Obama. Research it. There 12 billion government and private welfare programs for these low income people.

Help for those mentally and physically impaired...not a dime for those who sit on their couches eating bon bons and waiting for their neighbor to pay their bills.

Go to work, Nordy. Your wealth gap will diminish quickly.

I’m sure he was crushed. You are a tiny insignificant minority. And you’ll stay that way. Why do you have an ISP? Why aren’t you living off the grid? Your positions are claptrap. You don’t even believe them.

I can tell you're an idiot because you seem to think that Libertarians are anarchist isolationists who pine for amish principles, or some stupid shit like that..........it's why you can't possibly contemplate freedom. you obviously think people need to be controlled and regulated for your safety.

It is a little late for that. With Bernie, Warren, AOC etc, there really is no case that can be made that Democrats are not socialist, nor do they not wish to pursue socialism. The Democrat party has made that quite clear. There is no rational voice of consequence in that party left that can change that trajectory.

They changed their name from "Liberal" to "Progressive".

Now the Democratic Socialists of America say they are not really, really Socialists.

They would have voted in mass for crazy Bernie had he won the Primary.

This is just another ploy like Democrats and slavery. Try to hide it in plain sight.

Indeed. We are the DSA (Democrat Socialists of America) but we aren't Socialists.

An apple pie does not really contain apples...

Good grief!

Possibly so. They're close to the edge, but not over it. Notice they had 3-4 moderates at the beginning of the Democrat Clown Car....but they got whacked very early in the election run.

I think that the progressives will move the (D)s slightly more to the left, but historically centrists have usually tended to be the ones in control.

Of course to hear the Trumptards tell it, every one of us who voted for a (D) ever is a commie socialist libtard.
