There are many rich and powerful interests out there; however, only a few have been deputized by the ruling cabal to play this game. They get to choose who will be and not be on the final ballot.

At the end of a very dramatic campaign season the nominees are then presented to the electorate for their consideration. How does that equate to the American people choosing their leaders when the nominees are chosen for them — ALWAYS and WITHOUT EXCEPTION.

I'm with ya, but here's the thing...

Biden didn't have any money, ran virtually no ads, had virtually no campaign infrastructure, didn't even have a clear message, but leaned on endorsements and the privilege of being Obama's VP to connect with the Democratic base (black voters) and that was enough for those voters to make their choice at the last moment. I can't fault the DNC for that. They didn't play a part in Biden's surge on Tuesday, as much as I want to believe they did.

Fact of the matter is that turnout is up not because of Sanders or Biden, but because Democratic voters have been motivated by Trump to come out to the polls. While I think Biden is a weaker candidate on paper than Sanders or Warren, I don't think it matters at this point who the nominee is because Democrats are going to turn out the vote in November 2020, just like they did November 2019 and November 2018.

So my optimistic side looks at the turnout numbers so far and feels real encouraged that we can expunge Trump and the Senate GOP Majority.

So I'll vote for Biden in November, but I'm deeply skeptical that he truly earned it.

I've been telling you all this since I've been on the board.

Here's the thing...the DNC didn't do anything to spur all those people to vote for Biden in SC and on Super Tuesday. Biden had virtually no campaign and decided his strategy was leaning on endorsements and the privilege of Obama's VP, and that was enough for the voters. But I can't stress this enough; those voters weren't pressured by the DNC into choosing Biden. Many of them made their choice at the last moment, which says to me that they were always planning on voting, they just didn't know for whom.

Now while I think Biden isn't great, has tons of vulnerabilities, and is a weaker candidate on paper than Sanders and Warren, the older black and suburban white voters -who do represent a big part of the Democratic Party- spoke very loudly and very clearly who they prefer. And while you and I may disagree with that, the voters overall didn't.

So what can we do? Well, we can continue fighting and voting for Sanders, which I plan to do in Georgia, and focus our energy and efforts registering voters and turning out the vote to make sure the GOP and Trump don't retain a shred of power. Biden clearly has the momentum on his side at the moment, and short of him literally shitting his pants on stage in 10 days, he is probably going to win the nomination. So all of us will need to eventually get behind him because beating Trump is very important. Once we do that, we can make life extremely difficult for Biden and the DNC by dogging them on progressive policies every chance we get.

We live in a Republic of States. The Constitution is not a document that empowers BIG Government; it LIMITS what BIG Government can do.

The electoral process was ingenious in that it ensures that ALL States have some form of representation when it comes to Presidential elections. Otherwise, two or three very large populous states would decide every election.

The way our Representatives are selected and the creation of a Senate with 2 representatives from EVERY state and a House which is determined by a census of the population every ten years is equally genius.

Democracy is a very messy and confusing thing sometimes. But it is the BEST form of Governance which ensures individual liberty and freedoms. BUT, here is the best part Cinnabar; you can LEAVE anytime you want to. HINT.
