No offense, but we have been waiting over 400 years. We are tired of hearing WAIT. I've heard your argument before every election cycle. You expect some republican lite, moderate conservative democrat is going to magically start supporting progressive issues?

What are these moderate republican democrats gonna do about cheating? Abrams got CHEATED OUT OF HER SEAT and the dems did nothing. What makes you think they are going to do something this time?

This entire administration was installed for the same reason as those confederate statues.......

To let Blacks and other minorities know WHO IS STILL IN CHARGE! And most of white america supports them.

I totally and completely understand your frustration, and I think it is 100% valid. I think you're absolutely right about all of it.

While the DNC did very little to help Abrams, she helped herself by filing lawsuits against Kemp and the State of Georgia and has been winning those lawsuits. One of the counties that was supposed to have the new electronic machines from Kemp's buddy totally rejected them and chose paper ballots, citing Abrams' lawsuit as the reason.

No one is going to give a hand up to the Progressive movement; it's something we have to take ourselves, but we need the voters and bodies to do it. Right now, we just don't quite have it...and like I said, this could all change on a dime should Biden pop a blood vessel in his eye during the debate on the 15th, or whatever. The fight isn't over yet. Bernie is only 70 delegates down right now, and some states are coming up that are much friendlier to him: Washington, Oregon, Idaho, New York...there are plenty of primaries left, so we shouldn't give up that fight.

But regardless of what happens in those primaries, we have to unite to defeat Trump.

We can't allow him another term just to teach the DNC a lesson by staying home or voting 3P. Because he will shred what remains of the institutions that protect us.

Oh, I don't think white people are ready for change, and I doubt they ever will be. But what should encourage you is that Bernie is doing something no other candidate is doing; motivating young progressives to run for office. So that when the choices present themselves to white people, they can only choose a progressive.

RunForSomething is a fantastic organization that has managed to get Progressives elected everywhere, at every lower level of government. Those people are our future bench of candidates for higher office. I don't see Joe Biden motivating any moderates to run for office; all that action is being done by Progressives, and it's working. There will come a time when those running for office are only progressives, who picked up Bernie's mantle because let's face it, he's not going to be around forever, but the movement will be and it will need leaders.

Great! That's so great. And I hope you get everyone else to vote too, even if it's for Biden, if he's the nominee. Let's not lose sight of the goal: Flush Conservatism from government because it is a bankrupt belief system that clings to life purely because of tradition.
