In America the voters are led to believe that they are free to choose their leaders

Neither Biden or the other moderates in the party wanted M4A. They need to go and take the moderate supporters with them.

But the voting is proving that Bernie's movement alone isn't going to win the nomination, at least for now. Of course, things could change in a week or two, and Biden could totally face-plant in the next debate, but regardless of who the nominee is, we cannot allow Conservatives one shred of meaningful power ever again. So we need to hold the DNC to that and remind them that we are the ones who will win it for everyone. That is a much easier task with a Biden POTUS than a Trump POTUS.

We are going to win the long game...those seeds have already been planted and the first crop was harvested in 2018.

Trump has gotta go and the GOP needs to go with him. We accomplish that with all-hands-on-deck. So please vote for whoever the D nominee is vs. Trump, because we are gonna need your vote and my vote to beat him. No sitting on the sidelines.

We have to go all-in because too much is at stake and Biden isn't going to attract enough of the 95,000,00 non-voters to replace the progressive voters he could lose, in order to beat Trump. So we all have to show up.

Remember: Conservatism is the enemy here.

How did the DNC force primary voters to vote for Biden?

Flash, I literally said they didn't do that:

I can't fault the DNC for that. They didn't play a part in Biden's surge on Tuesday, as much as I want to believe they did.

The results were about the same as the polls. Attributing Biden's wins to conspiracy theories and cheating is just an excuse for losing. How do you know those were not the accurate results?

Once again, Flash, read what I wrote. You'll see that I agree the DNC didn't play a part in it, and there's no conspiracy:

Biden didn't have any money, ran virtually no ads, had virtually no campaign infrastructure, didn't even have a clear message, but leaned on endorsements and the privilege of being Obama's VP to connect with the Democratic base (black voters) and that was enough for those voters to make their choice at the last moment. I can't fault the DNC for that. They didn't play a part in Biden's surge on Tuesday, as much as I want to believe they did.

Democrats won’t get rid of their establishment by playing the establishment’s game. They *want you* to fall in line behind Biden. You can’t rid yourself of the Democrat establishment by being a good establishment foot soldier. By being obedient you’re only serving to propagate the status quo.

Too much is at stake to nitpick with the Establishment right now.

Paramount to everything is beating Trump and flushing the GOP out of the Senate.

Democratic voters have made that very clear that is the priority, which is why turnout has been way, way up this cycle...really dating back to 2018.

It's going to be easier to move Biden and CO leftward if there are no Conservatives with whom they can triangulate.

So that's why beating the ever loving shit out of Conservatives at the polls is most important.

The message needs to be that Conservatism is toxic and working with Conservatives is pointless since they're just going to act in bad faith; and I think that message was clear in 2018 and last year.

Biden sucks and everyone knows it. The only reason he’s at the top is because two of his closest competitors dropped out right before Super Tuesday and endorsed him. The DNC metaphorically bent Bernie and his supporters over and had their way with them. And not for the first time.

I agree that Biden sucks.

But Trump and the Conservatives are monsters.

You have too much faith in the system and white "middle americans".

Look, I've been saying from the beginning that I think Biden is the weakest candidate, and I continue to believe that.

But what is most important is defeating Trump, so we have to go to the polls regardless of who the nominee is and flush the GOP out of our politics.

We are going to win the long game. Sanders has already inspired plenty of progressives to run for office. The revolution takes time to grow, and we harvested that first crop in 2018 and look who it gave us: AOC, Tlaib, Omar, Haaland, Hill, Pressley, STACEY freakin' ABRAMS, etc....they are the future leaders of the party and they all rode in on the wave of progressive enthusiasm in 2018. They are only going to get more seasoned and stronger so that in 2024 or 2028, we will have a Democratic primary that is only progressives.

Patience, paduwan. We will get there. But we can't get there with Trump in the WH for another four years. So we have to suck it up and vote for Biden and we need to get everyone else out to vote for him too...and for down-ballot Democrats so we can wipe the stain of Conservatism out of our politics completely.

Now, Biden could totally shit the bed at the next debate in 9 days, and Bernie could be right back in it...but we need to resolve now that we will all vote Blue in the general election to remove the cancerous tumor that is Conservatism.

There are conservative in the democrat party.

Yes, I understand that.

But there is a marked difference between Conservative Democrats and Conservative Fascists.

Just because Biden could be the nominee doesn't mean we just give up on fighting for our Progressive values or for our vision. We have to stay engaged and hold the Establishment accountable.

But all of that means nothing if Trump wins a second term.

They're not.

Why is Trump so silent about Ivanka's corruption?

I haven''t heard shit from AOC and the Squadettes. :dunno:

Ivanka was a wealthy, successful international business woman and inspiring role model for little girls long before she had any role in gov't. The exact opposite of AOC, the failed bartender with an economics degree, that now takes $170k salary from taxpayers.:palm:

You not paying attention to anything doesn't mean nothing is happening.

Try breaking out of your own sheltered, insulated world.

And why is Ivanka so corrupt?

Ivanka uses sweatshops in foreign countries.

How does one fail at being a bartender?

I thought you had top notch investigative abilities? At least that's what you claimed. If you think Ivanka is corrupt, I suggest you get off JPP and start investigating. Otherwise, STFU

These corporate self-serving POS gave Trump billions of dollars of free air time during his campaign and Americans are just that based in Idiocracy to be led around buy the nose.

Yes, sorry. I think that post was meant as a reply to a different poster.

I must have clicked on your post out of habit :)

No offense, but we have been waiting over 400 years. We are tired of hearing WAIT. I've heard your argument before every election cycle. You expect some republican lite, moderate conservative democrat is going to magically start supporting progressive issues?

What are these moderate republican democrats gonna do about cheating? Abrams got CHEATED OUT OF HER SEAT and the dems did nothing. What makes you think they are going to do something this time?

This entire administration was installed for the same reason as those confederate statues.......

To let Blacks and other minorities know WHO IS STILL IN CHARGE! And most of white america supports them.
