1) ALL THREE RELIGIOUS TEXTS CLAIM THAT THEY WORSHIP the God of Abraham.... ALL THREE
This is true. Two of the three actually worship the God of Abraham, the other (much later in history) is a fraud, a fake, a perversion of the other two, worshiping a deity defined as Allah, which has no characteristics of Abraham's God. They CLAIM to be an Abrahamic religion, but they are not. The sources I referenced, illustrate the stark differences between the legitimate God of Abraham and the Islamic perversion. The earliest teachings of Islam actually stipulate that Allah is superior to who Christians refer to as "God" ...indicating there HAS to be two distinct entities.
2) YOUR links.... the first states clearly that it is written from a CHRISTIAN perspective. Not an objective one. The second looks at it OBJECTIVELY and shows that ALL THREE worship the God of Abraham. The third link is from Tim O'Hearn.... tell us Ditzie what is HIS background.... other than the obvious Christian background.
I don't know the backgrounds of any of the people who are responsible for the source links. I presented those to clarify this IS a legitimate debate, and not the ramblings of an internet idiot who doesn't know what he's talking about. I stated that God and Allah are different, not the same... You said they were the same, equivalent... the sources are in dispute, there is not a consensus.... that's what happens when all the smart people agree on something... a consensus. So there's not one here, people disagree.. some claim Allah and God are the same thing, others claim they aren't the same thing at all. The difference may simply be opinions, but there is a difference.
3) You ignored every single one of my points to you and instead continue on with your nonsense.
You didn't make any points... you threw out a generous helping of insults, and proclaimed yourself right and me wrong... but I didn't really see any 'points' being made.
4) God and Allah are the same (in that we are using the term 'God' in reference to what Christians call their deity and 'Allah' in terms of what Muslims call theirs.) There is no debate except by the bigots of the various religions who insist that because of their hatred of the other religions, the others must 'NOT' believe in the same God.
No, there is indeed great debate on the topic, as I have illustrated. Yes, the Islamic claim is, they believe in the same God, but the fact is, they don't. Islamics believe in a distortion, a perversion of the God of Abraham, and they prop up the lie with a totally false presentation of history as we know it. They claim, for instance, that Moses and Abraham were Muslims! We know this isn't true because of what "Mooslems" were doing during the same time period... worshiping the Gods of the Cow and Moon! They believe many of the same things Christians believe, but in the context of Muslims being the "chosen people" instead of the Jews. This is all a fraud, from it's inception as a "religion" by a self-proclaimed prophet who was an adulterer, liar and thief, to modern-day Muslims who practice Taqiyya, the fundamental principle of lying and being dishonest to advance the religion.
5) Now tell us ditzie... how could GOD allow for there to be Catholics AND Protestants.... why did GOD not come down and set one or both of them straight? How could THEY worship the same God given the discrepancies?
WTF? How many times do I have to say, this is NOT a debate on Theology? I think this makes 5 times I've said it... can you not comprehend what I mean by that? I have no idea what or why God would or should, or could... do ANYTHING! That's not what we are discussing, or at least, not what I am discussing. If you want to debate Theology, go find a Christian Theologist and ask them!
Yeah, I'm sure that was a good one too! Why don't you just stop and think a little bit before you post any more of your crap?
