The fact that Ensign arranged to have his former staffer hired at a lobby shop and got his corporate buddies to send work his way was known in October 2009. He resigned last month.

He didn't run around LYING about the affair, claiming it was all fabricated by the left-wingers to bring him down. As soon as the details came out, he was forced to resign, that's why he resigned, goofball! When that happened, I don't recall a single rightie on this board, defending his actions, or making excuses for his behavior. But here you guys have gone on record to say it doesn't really matter to you, and shouldn't matter to anyone else, when it involves someone's sex life. ....UNLESS they are a Republican, right???
