HE LIED UNDER OATH and was impeached for LYING UNDER OATH.... not for getting a blow job. People are hammering Weiner, not because he was tweeting pics, but because he LIED to the public, he broke trust with the PUBLIC. Had he come out and stated the truth from the start then this would have quickly become a non-issue for all but the right wing fringe.

In other words, Starr was just as guilty as Clinton for wasting taxpayers money and Congressional/White House time, because an exit poll showed that the "public trust" didn't give a good God damn about Clinton's indiscretions because he was putting JOBS and money on the table that 12 years of reaganomics had screwed the public out of.
As for Weiner, I've stated outright that he's an idiot, who's lies have caused more trouble than the neocon attack dogs could have dreamed....but given the latest pics and information revealed, Weiner still would have been screwed, IMHO.
THE DIFFERENCE IS THAT CLINTON'S PROBLEMS CAME TO LIGHT VIA A BOGUS BASED "HAIL MARY" TACTIC BY STARR.....Weiner is just another muk raking news got'cha.

Your "point" is myopic as usual......check the list of politicos on both sides of the fence in the last 30 years that immediately copped to the charge when caught, and see how they faired. It's the exception to the rule if they continue in office or are re-elected. Lying just makes it worst. Remember, Clinton had a 54% approval rating as he left office for the final time...and that was AFTER the Lewinsky affair. The Slickster stated in his farewell address that if he could run again, he'd win hands down. I dare say he would (but not with my vote).
As I and others have stated, I KNOW both sides lie to us.... the point is we SHOULD ALL be outraged when it is proven to us and we should all hold EACH AND EVERY ONE of them accountable when they do so.... REGARDLESS of what letter is in parenthesis after their name.
