Are you seriously going to claim that because Sen Ensign didn't claim it was some Liberal conspiracy that the situations are different?

Why else would a confessed ADULTERER from the Family Values Party stay in office for TWO WHOLE YEARS after the affair was made public?

Again, the ONLY comparison here is, both involve inappropriate behavior. Ensign didn't spend two weeks trying to blame his scandal on the Huffington Post! That's what Weiner did! He tried to play this off as Andrew Breitbart dirty tricks, and lectured us daily about pies being thrown by hecklers. Then when the writing is on the wall, he comes clean but says he doesn't plan to resign... Ensign resigned! So where the fuck do you find any comparison here?

Again...Ensign resigned TWO YEARS AFTER the affair became public knowledge AND ONLY when he discovered HE WAS BEING INDICTED BY THE SENATE ETHICS COMMITTEE.

He didn't resign because his conscience or his sense of right or wrong told him to...he resigned to keep his butt out of jail...

You keep demonstrating those situational ethics and the moral relativism that guide all you Family Values Righties!

See you're still trying to spin this into being about the morality of what he did. No one gives a shit that he was sexting co-eds half his age, it's the fact that he blatantly lied about it for two weeks and tried to blame it all on Andrew Breitbart! Furthermore, that he may have used taxpayer dollars to do it, then try to cover it up. And you are completely avoiding the fact that not one single republican ever excused Ensigns behavior or attempted to defend what he did... several of you are on record here, as vocal defenders of the Weiner!
