Where's the moral outrage?

nah, not as much as you....and what is even creepier is how often you pop up with a post mere minutes after i mention your name...in fact, i did so today and wondered how long it would take you to say the above...

you didn't disappoint...thanks!

Can't really say much about the timing. I checked the board earlier this morning, and just hopped on again a few minutes ago.

Not much I can do about the fact that this thread was near the top, and one of the 1st posts I see is you bringing me up yet again in your creepy unsolicited way.

This is what you said: "He expanded the PATRIOT act to make unwarranted listening to calls even stronger." But he didn't do that.

No, he called it "extreme rendition, where we outsource our torture to other countries." He has ended that practice.

Again, he promised to end the practice of sending people to other countries to be tortured and he did. He did not promise to end all renditions under any and all circumstances.

Um, my views on this stuff are quite clear. And, again, I'm not defending Obama. I'm just setting the record straight while, for some strange reason, you want to lie about it. Obama is better than Bush

strange, when i do this for bush i am called a bush lover or something by hacks on this board....but you get a pass from the very same people....

hmmmmm

You're probably referring to me here (or maybe not). I only call you a Bush lover when you express deep, undying love for George W. Bush.

So, it's not really a comparison there....

more onceler intellectual dishonesty....

we all know you wont as you never back up your lies...

hack away...i've better things to do today than deal with your immature hackery

I've brought you up maybe 4-5 times, and usually it's in the context of giving examples of board Bush-lovers like Dixie, bravo, Yurt, etc.

You have brought me up literally dozens of times, maybe more for all I know, and it's generally not in that sort of context. It's usually like the post on this thread - I said something that got under your skin, so you feel a need to obsessively repeat it whenever, wherever.

LMAO.... you are such a hack...

your mantra is 'if you got some, I am taking it'

which is worse?

I guess the funniest thing about this and other reactions to the "I got mine, fuck you" post is that RString, when I first posted that as the libertarian credo, only suggested that it be modified slightly to "I got mine, go get yours."

The practice of rendition has NOT changed. "extradordinary" rendition IS rendition...dork! What Obama did was to remove any kind of real protection to those being rendered for interrogation...much more dangerous for the detainee. Now he can pretend he knows nothing about what happens.

Well, since you say so and you're such a well-informed, honest and intelligent person, I suppose I will have to reconsider.

You are the one who is regularly unveiled as the partisan hack nigey. That you don't seem to know that in relation to terrorism the term rendition refers to the practice of "extraordinary rendition" is just icing on the cake.

Oh, the guy who stole them should be pushing up daisies already, why is his ass still alive?
there is this little thing in the constitution called 'due process'. See, in this country of supposed freedom, liberty, and limited government, we just don't allow assassinations of people for doing something that the government got embarrassed about.

I understand Assage only published the documents, but the act of publishing them, is a direct attack on the US military and our national security, and should be dealt with swiftly and harshly, and in no uncertain terms. Sorry if that hurts your liberal heart.

so the constitution is just a set of guidelines then?

Unveiled? I post in the nude at all times. There is nothing to unveil. And where's this fucking cake with delicious extraordinary rendition icing? I like cake.

Well, if the World Socialist Web Site says so . . .

They provided links to the sources. Are you denying the facts layed out or the story in the LA times? I guess since you don't even know that rendition in relationship to terrorism IS the same as extraodinary rendition we can't expect you to know how to fact check links within an article either.

and he has constitutional authority to arbitrarily revoke constitutional protections?

I know that I ain't going to bother tracking down sources for a story on the fucking World Socialist Web Site.

I am denying only that you could find your ass with both hands in your back pockets.

Translation of Nigey's response: I am a stiff-necked partisan hack who does not really care about facts unless they support what I subscribe to.

and nigey you are the idgit who thinks there is a difference between extraodinary rendition and rendition in relationship to terrorism...not me.

The LA times article refered to in the previous link

Well, if it's worth anything the failures of the Obama administration to deal with the human rights abuses they claimed to have been opposed to have merely reinforced the perception that both Democrat and Republican politicians are duplicitous and fundamentally bankrupt when it comes to any sense of even the basest form of morality.

I'd like to claim i was surprised but, unfortunately owing to a keen sense of cynicism, i can't.
Still the best answer on the thread! Two thumbs up!
