With 58,000 dead, pandemic becomes Trump's Vietnam — in just six weeks

He's a total fool, and the worst possible leader right now.

We'll have to agree to disagree on those things.

I don’t even want to think about where Biden would have us in 2-3 years.

Back to business as usual with China while his progressive VP is actually running the country—into the ground, with the Green Madness, open borders and who knows what all.

I’ll take Trump, warts and all all day, every day, over that prospect.

Btw, things have been pretty ‘green’ lately. How do you like it so far?

And both parties are failing The American people miserably. This crisis stripped them all naked for all to see what impotent feckless and corrupt beings they are.

The blame lies squarely with the Chinese Dictators and W.H.O. Watching the PHONY media and their DNC allies bloviate asinine talking points like this makes them look like morons, not Trump.

But hey, keep hating on America and her President snowflake; it's a winning message in the Fall. I think I will start calling the Democratic Party of the Jackass the party of hate. Has a nice ring to it don't you think?

Yet, you seem to want him to look brilliant... Less than 1% of the predicted deaths (200K still is less than 1% of the original projection) will make Trump look very good, and will make leftist idiots look petty and uncaring.

Can you expound on that a bit? He has given contradictory messaging on reopening pretty much every day for the past few weeks. And he spent February saying things like "15 to zero."

Governors & other leaders took action in spite of him in many cases. Even today, he resists calls for much more widespread testing - a small investment compared to the losses the economy is taking, and something that is clearly needed to reopen portions of the economy.

I know you guys will credit him no matter what, though - MAGA, after all.

Bullshit, the first recorded case happened back in December in San Francuso. If Trump hadn't acted so quickly to stop flights from Chins there would have been a fuckton more. Of course we all know that you and the other Dems on here were vehemently opposed to that but think we have forgotten.

Why do you always lie Kenny? You're so desperate to get rid of Trump that you'd elect a senile fool like Biden that Xi and Putin would run rings around.

 Kenny is a fool, therefore he lies and parrots lie filled narratives. Leftists like Kenny don't think, can't think for themselves and instead, parrot MSNBC talking points. ;)

I'd have to agree w/ this. And this is kind of what we deserve. We have set up a process that doesn't come close to attracting the best & most capable people. And we don't hold them accountable anymore - lobbyists roam free, corporate money rules & most politicians care more about re-election than about good governance, and we just keep voting them back in.

And why? Because we've all gotten too partisan. It's more about party than really caring.

If there is a silver lining to this, it may be that we come out of it with a different perspective. It's sad to have a crisis like this & see just how far things have gone. Our government is seriously flawed.

#STFU you America hating retard.

The last line is pathetic. My "plan" to transition to green never involved shutting down the economy due to a pandemic. Can that comment be any more lame? There is less immigration now, too. How do you like that so far? Has it helped the economy?

Biden won't be a good President. BUT, he won't be terrified to surround himself with good, intelligent people, who disagree w/ him. We'll be in better hands w/ that kind of admin than the "I alone can fix it" one.

Are you being sarcastic? Trump has repeatedly done just that.

Are you a fucking retard? Comparing a viral outbreak to the Vietnam War is not merely weak and stupid, it requires a new level of low brow hackery. This isn't about Trump you willful idiots on the left.

But hey, I get it. You lying leftist hacks know what a pathetic mess Biden is. Therefore, you morons think you can drag his sorry ass across the finish line by making stupid shit like this up. November is going to be harsh on the Party of the Jackass.

#fuckoff

It is the system -- and the voters -- that is flawed. This crisis, had it happened 20 years ago, would have brought us all together -- assuming of course we didn't have #COVID45 for an IMPOTUS. You know what makes me the most fearful for the survival of America? It isn't the economic shambles we're currently in, or the pandemic itself. It's the people. Look at any coronavirus news article on the web site or social media source of your choice, ones that offer a comment section. The virulence and hate and rage coming from the pro-reopen-everything-now crowd is horrible, and is often countered by equally vicious keep-us-safe proponents' comments.

If we cannot come together against a common enemy -- COVID-19 -- we are doomed.

I hate to agree w/ that last part, but I'm getting more pessimistic. It's stunning how quickly this crisis was politicized, by both sides.

Both shutting down and reopening have become Dem/Republican issues. Thank you Fox. Thank you CNN. Thank you Trump.

Trump raises his virus death toll projection to up to 70,000 in U.S.

The orange clown should hit this mark before election day, especially if he opens up the country full throttle and limited testing too?!!

You sad, pathetic hack; is this more wishful thinking on your part? More American deaths in the hopes this will get your pathetic candidate elected? You better schedule your suicide watch early. November is going to be harsh for America hating morons like you, you triggered loon.

:smh:

We the people share the blame for being the tools of the above.

Well, his action stopped your own dire prediction from happening. That's pretty clear. Stuff he says notwithstanding, the actual result will make him look a bit brighter than his opposition.

It's early, but that certainly will be in the running for the "huh?" award of the day.

You should have a bigger priority during all of this than trying to spin things to make Trump the hero. If there is one thing that has come out of this crisis, it's how erratic, unstable & thin-skinned Trump is as a leader, if anyone can even call him that. The daily pressers will leave an indelible impression on the electorate, and "15 to zero" is going to make an endless loop for campaign commercials on the fall.

You should have a bigger priority during all of this than trying to spin things to give Trump the blame. But then, that would require a intelligence which is obviously terribly lacking in you.

Eight weeks ago, TrumCo. said this COVID was nearly contained and we would soon be down to zero cases.

What did Democrats say eight weeks ago?

What was my own dire prediction? And which action?

Now you are just being deliberately obtuse. My first post in this thread explained and linked to the prediction, and the actions he's taken to limit the spread of the virus. If you don't understand that your life isn't normal right now due to suggestions from this Administration then you are literally the only one. Acting stupider than Trump is not a winning strategy. Starting off with ridiculously high death numbers in your predictions in the US alone isn't the way there either.

Again - what was MY dire prediction? And what actions did Trump take specifically?
