Well, you get points for recognizing that a democrat in the WH wouldn’t have changed anything significantly.
Epidemics are apolitical. In fact, it’s dangerous to play politics with them and it’s pretty apparent which side is doing that.
Politically, the blame game begins and ends with CHINA and to a lesser extent WHO. Trump had his ‘epidemic cake’ baked for him by those two parties. Even The Obama would have fared no better. Obama doesn’t know how to make test kits and he likely would have hesitated on shutting down immigration from China due to politically correct concerns.
And besides, we are winning. We are on the down hill side. If Trump gets blamed for China’s epidemic, then Trump gets points for leading the country to it’s downhill side. You can’t have it both ways at once.
It’s also true that the 50,000 dead was supposed to way, way higher than that even by now.
If one side insists on playing election year politics with an epidemic one can hardly blame Trump for boasting about reducing the 2 million dead figure by orders of magnitude.
It’s the smart political play.

If the election were today things could be a little sketchy for Trump. The epidemic has allowed the media to ‘not have to cover’ Biden [has he left his basement in a month?] and it’s allowed them to hammer Trump while not having to deal with protecting Biden.
Obviously, that’s not going to keep.
If the despicable, lying hack, Adam Schiff wants another [another?? You can’t be serious!!] Trump investigation—let him have at it. It will only alienate what remains of the independent voters.

The response by America to this China virus has been as good as could be expect no matter who is in the White House.
Instead of coming together, there are those (including the media) of being critical of things beyond anyone's control. No one can develop and produce 300 million fast and accurate China virus test kits in days.
Middle America is "hanging in there" for now and still supporting our president (although some of us say he does say some stupid shit). Lots of new Trump 2020 signs popping up in front yards here.
Hopefully once things open up, our small businesses will survive. There should be a push to "Buy American" like there is for supporting our people working to keep things going and especially our medical professionals for doing such a great job of keeping us safe.

You should have a bigger priority during all of this than trying to spin things to make Trump the hero. If there is one thing that has come out of this crisis, it's how erratic, unstable & thin-skinned Trump is as a leader, if anyone can even call him that. The daily pressers will leave an indelible impression on the electorate, and "15 to zero" is going to make an endless loop for campaign commercials on the fall.
