You asked Phan the other day why she believes that you are racist. This right here is a good example.

Kaep has no more to do with racism and division in this country than Santa Claus does. He is merely the face of one aspect of the multi-layered protests against institutional racism, police brutality against people of color, and an uneven criminal justice system that metes harder punishments on POC than it does on whites, particularly those with money.

It's unclear from the testimony what year Adam DiSabato is referencing, but his brother Mike spoke to CNN in July 2018 about his allegations that Jordan knew about sexual abuse he and other wrestlers were facing. Adam DiSabato says Jordan called him "several times."

It amazes me how ppl who never served nonetheless explode in rage when they perceive that someone else isn't being respectful enough to the piece of cloth and the ritual words before a sporting event. :rolleyes:

overtly disrespectful to if not outright contemptuous of the federal govt, usually based on supposed principled opposition to it's coercive diminution of rights.
Well, that flag is not just your state flag or your chosen corn fed people's flag, it represents all 50 states, all people and a mutual bond.
Where is that bond evident? The federal government.
So if it's through social pressure that we revere that symbol, it is your "coercive" federal govt. applying it, as that is what
it being offended if you don't. That ain't the Texas flag it is the US Federal government flag.

In short you are hypocrites. Anti federal government disrespectful screeds abound here. And its most fashionable

Remember that judge guy, Moore, who ran for a senate office in Alabama but lost because of accusations of preying on underage girls? It would appear that Alabamans have more morals than Ohioans. Then there was Al Franken, who resigned because of a joke photo showing him behaving inappropriately towards a sleeping woman.

I wonder why some ppl are more accepting of vulgarity and criminal behavior than others?

They are the same people who say that they want minorities, women, LGBTQ folks, etc. to have equal rights. But damn if you protest visibly when it's not happening, they're outraged and terrified. They can't abide uppity women, uppity people of color, uppity anyone but the drooling anti-masker gun-humpers like these "patriots."

There are thousands and thousands of police officers. It is only logical that some of them are dirty low lifes on a power trip. How many it is, I don't know. One is too many.

The very fact that the officers would keep track of when it's on and when it's off, and adjust their words and actions accordingly, is troubling.

The body cams should not give the officers any indication of when it is on and when it is off.

Every officer should have one on at all times and never know if it is on or off. An assumption should simply be made that it is on all the time.
 
A follow-up to the OP. It looks like they put the suspected sergeant on administrative leave.

I have a neighbor that is pro trump and catholic even though she has several gays in her family. She uses the Biden is a pedo thing to hide her homophobia.

Symbols are important, but they're still just symbols. I support the First Amendment which, by necessity, includes Nazis marching in Skokie, IL and LWers shitting upon and burning the American flag. I support the right of employers to set rules for their employees and their right to terminate employees who break clear and fair rules. A football game is both a sport and business event. It's not a political protest.

If a group of people in the stands started a ruckus, regardless of which view they were bitching about, I support the right of both the stadium, and the rights of fans, to toss out those creating a ruckus. If they want to protest, let them do it on their own or public property. Obviously this goes for the players too.
