Luckovich is one of the worst political cartoonists there is. I'm not particularly singling out the tripe above, but rather pointing out his cartoons tend to be mean, unfunny, irrelevant, and / or uninspired, all the things that make for a good political cartoon (eg., fun, funny, relevant and inspired).

Putin, who is probably insane, are like Liberal gun banners and the West are gun owners minding their own business. Putin, paranoid at what the West might do, attacks first just like Liberals attack lawful gun owners as being guilty until proven innocent.
