As opposed to the private hearings where information is supposedly secret but that doesn't stop certain Congressmen from compiling personal memos based upon their interpretation of the that data and release it as official documentation

Least in public hearings Americans can see what is actually happening and Congressman can't edit released testimony nor offer their personal narratives of what occurred to frame inneundos for the right wing media

Goudy knows Comey would embarrass his colleagues on the Committee
 
Robo makes up shit, like for some reason in a public hearing they would be limited in the time they can question. How does that make sense? They generally run hearings on CSPAN, and they are long affairs with lots of questioning. Also the reds are in charge, so they make the rules. Comey has zero power over these things and the Repubs total control. Fact is the reds don't want public hearings because they want to spin. If we have it in public, it hurts their lies.

Why would Trey Gowdy have the power to redact anything in a transcript of the meeting? Why wouldn't the FBI have their people at the hearing to do any redacting of any classified materials that might be revealed at the hearing? Why wouldn't both the chair of the hearing and the DEMOCRAT minority chair also have review of the final transcript opened to the public and the press? Explain to me how Gowdy could take such command of and over a released transcript as you believe could or would happen in your partisan leftist mind. I'll wait!

The House hasn't issued a subpoena.....YET! They've ask Comey to voluntarily appear at a closed hearing. The House Republicans as usual have no gonads nor do the Senate Republicans. The Never Trumper Republicans are the road blockers right along with the Democrats, they're a pathetic lot! This FBI and Justice Department Cabal should have had its lid blown off long before now. There's several scumbag Republicans involved in the Trump Trap scam including Comey, Rosenstein, Mauller and several others in the FBI and Justice Department. Gowdy ,coward that he is, wants to question Comey in private, away from the bright lights and the people. That is cowardly. Comey says "let's do it in public for all Americans to see'. That is brave and shows a person who has nothing to hide. Gowdy wants to hide it from the people. How Robo can actually post the opposite and believe it, is absurd and a typical right wing lie.

I only fear that the ball-less Republicans won't have the gonads to subpoena the low-life bastard and force his criminal ass to testify in a closed, transcribed hearing open to the public and the press after redactions by the FBI of any classified materials that might have been revealed.

Well friend if the transcripts are released to the public and the press the lazy public bastards and their fake news media could actually read what was ask and answered for themselves without any bleeping spin by some bleeping politician's memo.
