Except there were not valid objections.

The VP cannot just pull 'objections' from the internet and say 'that is enough'.

Any 'objections' have to be handled in the State via Court Cases and those happened and they lost. Via the State SoS reviews, and they did happen and they lost.

The Certification by the State, is a method to CERTIFY there are no more valid objections or ANYTHING that over turn these NOW CERTIFIED electors.

If Trump were to win in 2024, Kamala could not stop it simply if the Squad objected to it.

There were valid objections. Because of the staged riot Pelosi was able to change the rules and the objections were not allowed. That is what and why it happened.

One person, the VP is not the decider of every election based on what they read on the internet, the day before certification.

Once the States certify the results, and submit them, the Vp's role is only to read them in to the Congressional record and not say 'I read something online that gives me doubts so i am throwing out these results'.

I get why a stupid person thinks that is how it works though.
