Joe Capitalist
Racism is a disease
The pardon is a very bad privilege of the President.
Trump has proven that it encourages illegal behavior.
The pardon is a very bad privilege of the President.
OK, J.
I suppose that a plan with a snowball's chance in hell of succeeding is still a plan.
I'm worried that the next one will be better, however.
It had far more than a snowballs chance of winning. Here were Trumps keys to victory.
- get Pence to accept alternative/fake slate of electors OR have mob stop count forcing the Constitutional deadline for the VP to accept the list of electors to be missed.
- If Pence accepts fake slate and reads it in to the record, then by the Constitution, Trump is certified as the new POTUS
- If Pence refuses but the Mob makes them miss the Constitutional deadline, then the Constitution REQUIRES it go to a Contingent Election to settle the issue where the GOP had the majority of votes.
So people say, 'won't the Supreme Court weigh in and fix this?'
Trump and the Executive Branch would proclaim RIGHTLY, the Judicial Branch has ZERO role in such disputes as the Constitution clearly States. The PROCESS is laid out. If the VP and Senate cannot certify for any issues, then the CURE is to send it to the House for the Contingent Vote.
So while the SC might try to intervene, no one is obligated to listen to their rulings, just as if Jim Jordan and his House Committee tried to cancel all Jan6th convictions, the Judicial Branch would ignore them, citing Separation or Powers.
So people should make no mistake as the Trump plan was sound, and Constitutional, once Pence broke his Constitutional oath (which he refused to do) or with a delay forcing the deadline miss.
It would have lead to a Constitutional crisis of the highest order, as Dems would have screamed THEFT, and raced to the SC and Dem voters took to the street in the biggest mass protest ever. It might even lead to a split in the Military and DoJ with some siding with Biden and some Trump. But Trump was counting on that chaos.
Trump has proven that it encourages illegal behavior.
Agree.
pence could have made valid objections because many states changed election rules without state legislative approval.
it's really that simple.
hoping pence does the right thing is not a plan for overthrowing government.
you're very retarded on many levels.
The Duchess stupidity has grown on me over the years. He's harmless here and that's good for society as a whole.
Except it is not that simple
When Biden wins a second term and Dems control the House and Senate, maybe they can strike the Pardon Power from the Executive Branch.
They can also codify abortion, continue the transition to renewable energy and purge the Electoral College go to Popular vote like every other election in America.
MAGA morons would have the biggest butthurt meltdown in history. That would be fun to watch.
Biden did not win a first term.
I can tell you one of the likely names.

it is that simple.
as head of the senate he controls what happens.
Up is not up.
It is NOT that simple but you are that simple.
You are arguing the Head of the Senate is immune from following the Constitution and that is wrong. And stupid. You are stupid.
I can tell you one of the likely names.

it is that simple.
the head of the senate leads the senate in it's constitutional role of verifying elections.
the senate is not just a rubber stamp on what dominion machines and cnn says.
Except you wrong. And stupid.
it is not that simple. the Head of the Senate has no second guess role in saying the State certified Electors are wrong. That power is left to the State SoS and the State Supreme Court.
the Constitution specifically denies the Head of the Senate that roll and it IS a rubber stamp on COUNTING the submitting certified electors for the congressional record.
