Historians won't see it that way.

Trump brought an entirely new level of incompetence to the office. He was a terrible President, on every level. He is likely to be ranked near last, if not last, by even the most objective historians.

Perhaps the greatest one term president, since Fillmore the great! But seriously for a president who could not or would not do the job, he fought tooth and nail to try to keep the job after losing the election, go figure?!! Trump and his presidency was a total failure, and the damage he has done to the country, will take years to rectify too?!! Not only is Trump the worst president in American history, also as a human being too!

Agree. We still don't know all the damage Trump has done to our nation.

He served only one term, and got beat handily in his bid for re-election. He left a nation more divided than ever, with the worst economy in decades, highest unemployment, most small businesses lost, and an utter failure at responding to the only real crisis of his administration.

On every level, he was one of our worst Presidents. He was in over his head from day 1, and completely incompetent.

In addition to all of that, he never even tried to be president. He wouldn't be briefed. He wouldn't read a written word. He compulsively tweeted day in and day out. He worked for a couple of hours a day a few days a week. He will be forever remembered as one of the worst, if not the worst, president in American history. The only one in my mind who comes close is Buchanan who basically allowed the Civil War to occur. Trump tried to cause a second one.

I don't think Obama intentionally created division. White racists just didn't like him. Trump went out of his way to create division.
