They are criminals, the have migrated here illegally, whether you like it or not they committed a criminal act in doing so. It has to do with the legality, not whether they are poor. How about they stay at home and improve their own economy, instead of being a drag on ours

Not all of them migrated here illegally, nor are they guilty of criminal infractions.

Immigrants spark economic growth. They always have. I have been employed by several.

You're trying to argue a point I never made. I never said the wall was a good thing or that I supported it. I said I saw a documentary on it and at the time it came down it wasn't just one wall it had all this high tech crazy security around it that very few people could get by.

When guns are outlawed only outlaws will have guns.

We should absolutely take whether we can effectively enforce a law into consideration. The costs of enforcing the law should be compared to the costs of permitting the behavior.

Building a fence is stupid and will not solve the problem of undocumented residents anymore that banning all guns will eliminate murder.

I was pointing out how second amendment advocates often point out that restrictions on guns will not effectively prevent crime, as criminals will not comply with the law.

The next question is, who's paying for 1200 miles of fence? Everyone. Are you willing to pay a tax to build more fence that's most likely unneeded? If so, why? We have children and elderly people starving thanks to the sequester, and we should throw away billions and billions of dollars for more fence?
