The Dumbest Journalist Ever!

You are a fool of staggering proportion if you think that putting a wall on our border with Mexico would work. This is not a partisan issue. I find the idea repulsive because it is inhumane, as a symbol it contradicts the value of freedom and liberty this nation stands for, it would cost a ton of tax payers money and there's no way possible that it would work. It would simply be throwing money away. It would also serve as a symbol that the Mexican people are our enemy, a notion I utterly and completely reject.

If you think throwing money, technology and people at this idea would make it work you're a damned fool. Study your history and learn from it! No wall of this nature has EVER succeeded for more than a very short period of time. It simply could not work. It would just be a SOP to chickenshit bigots afraid of poor people immigrating here to make a better life for themselves that would waste a staggering sum of the tax payers money that would be far better spent elsewhere.

That was really a nice refusal to consider the proposition and yet you never offered one thing that would show why it wouldn't work; but instead just kept repeating that it wouldn't work. :palm:

The Berlin Wall failed by any rational measure. The prison state it created made it very expensive to supply the needs of the inhabitants and eventually it had to come down. A similar result will happen if we build a wall of the same sorts along the border with Mexico as it will further restrict the free flow of goods. Of course, that same sort of wall is not really what is being suggested and a less militarized border will be less effective in restricting the flow of illegal immigrants.

How would it restrict the free flow of goods?

If this is one of your ask a really stupid question with an obvious answer trolling tactics, I am only answering once. Obviously, militarizing the border in that way will increase the costs of moving goods and service equipment/workers across the border. It is still having a negative impact on trade.

That's only an opinion; because no one suggested stopping the import or export of goods.
