Yes, but they were mostly adults, so they had easy access to about anything. This social media has become problematic, in more ways than one.
It has caused family break-ups and defamation lawsuits, among others. So there's no doubt they get it from social media. What can we do?

I don't have the answer on that. I only know it's an issue, and bad for the country right now.

Like most of us, I see free speech as sacred - but we have a lot of people yelling fire in a movie theater right now. There is some speech that we have to really reconsider. But that would beg the question - who monitors that, and who decides what's allowable?
