Now READ what YOU wrote ditzie... It is the INTERPRETATION that is different. Not the God. They all believe in the SAME entity. Thank you for finally admitting that is the case. It is just the INTERPRETATION of the STORIES that is different.

No, they don't believe in the "SAME GOD" and it's impossible to reconcile the contradictions. It's not a matter of them believing in the same God with different interpretations, that is the case with the Jews and Christians. The Islamic "interpretation" is, that Jews and Christians are liars, who have lied about God, and they must all die. Islam doesn't believe in a God of peace, tolerance, love, humanity, and forgiveness... they worship a God who is pleased by death, destruction, hate, revenge and intolerance.

You are correct on the above.

Here you go off the deep end yet again. The timing is NOT an issue. YOU calling it 'an affront to Judaism and Christianity' again is a highly BIGOTED view. It was most certainly a religion born from Faith. Faith in the teachings of the prophet Mohammad. Just as Christianity was born on FAITH in the teachings of Christ. Timing is NOT an issue. Not sure how many times I have to point it out to you, but Christianity came CENTURIES after Judaism and is vastly different in many aspects. Yet you don't harp on the timing issue between Judaism or Christianity. WHY?

Prior to hearing the teachings of Christ, many Christians also worshiped other Gods. So once again, as I previously stated, this is also a bogus point on your part.

Also.... Allah does not literally mean 'Father of the Gods'... It literally means 'GOD'. You are confusing yourself with pre-Islamic beliefs in multiple Gods and trying to associate the use of Allah at that time to somehow equate to what you want it to mean for Muslims today. It would be similar to my proclaiming GOD really means Zeus father of the Gods.

I have never stated they are the same as Christians and Jews in their beliefs you unbelievable hack. If ANY of the three were 'the same' in their beliefs then they would share the SAME religion. ONCE AGAIN, having different beliefs, interpretations of stories does NOT change the ENTITY they ALL believe in.

Again.... Christians and Jews ALSO believed in Multiple Gods prior to becoming Christians and Jews. So that point is nothing short of absurd.

AGAIN... the timing of when the stories were relayed to the respective people is IRRELEVANT.

The Messiah is prophesied in the Old Testament and both Jews and Christians agree on that. Where is Mohammed prophsied anywhere in the bible?

muhammad alters who god is:

"People of the Book, go not beyond the bounds in your religion, and say not as to God but the truth. The Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, was only the Messenger of God, and His Word that He committed to Mary, and a Spirit from Him. So believe in God and His Messengers, and say not, 'Three.' Refrain; better is it for you. God is only one God. Glory be to Him - (He is) above having a son." (4:171)

Muslim: Believe in God of Abraham, Jesus is not Gods son
Jew: Believe in God of Abraham, Jesus is not Gods son
Christian: Believe in God of Abraham, Jesus IS Gods son and along with Holy Spirit makes a 3 in 1 God

Yurt: Muslims altered God, Jews and Christians believe in same God (even though their God is identical to Jews and it is the Christians if anyone that 'changed the structure of God')

SF: i can't find any jewish texts or prophets to substantiate my claim that judaism says god does not have a son. therefore, i will base my ASSumptions on what people, rather than texts, say about it and based totally on human belief, claim yurt is a bigot, despite that muhammad altered who god is. i am intellectually bankrupt spazz.

that is all.

Wrong. Father of gods, no capital G. the term "gods" means like men. Therefore, Allah means "father of men", not multiple Gods. Multiple does not equate to father.

Thankyou.

Well, Dixtard, Alias disagrees with you too.

So, cite where Allah "literaly means father of Gods".

Allah" literally means "Father of Gods" ...signifying multiple Gods.

Cite.

In pre-Islamic Arabia, Allah was used by Meccans as a reference to the creator-god, possibly the supreme deity. Allah was not considered the sole divinity; however, Allah was considered the creator of the world and the giver of rain. The notion of the term may have been vague in the Meccan religion. Allah was associated with companions, whom pre-Islamic Arabs considered as subordinate deities. Meccans held that a kind of kinship existed between Allah and the jinn. Allah was thought to have had sons and that the local deities of al-ʿUzzā, Manāt and al-Lāt were His daughters. The Meccans possibly associated angels with Allah. Allah was invoked in times of distress. Muhammad's father's name was ʿAbd-Allāh meaning "the slave of Allāh."

By that standard it is IMPOSSIBLE to reconcile the contradictions between Jews and Christians, thus by YOUR standards they also do not believe in the same God.

The rest of your idiocy is just that... idiocy. It is again what YOU are proclaiming that they believe. You are a bigot and thus you try to make Islam into some 'violent brown skin people who wanna kill everybody'

YET AGAIN I ASK YOU DITZIE....

IF 1.2 BILLION people REALLY believed as YOU state they do.... How the fuck do you explain the FACT that 15 million or so Jews in the world are still alive?

CAN YOU FINALLY ANSWER THAT DITZIE?

The Messiah is prophesied in the Old Testament and both Jews and Christians agree on that. Where is Mohammed prophsied anywhere in the bible?

Both Christians and Muslims believe Jesus was born of the virgin Mary. Jews do not. OMG that MUST mean Jews also don't believe in the same God as Christians because HOW could GOD allow such a severe discrepancy to occur?

As for the prophecies in the OT.... the MESSIAH is prophesied..... DO show us where JESUS was prophesied in the OT? What... you can't do it? NO WAY! That means he can't be the one because the OT didn't mention his name. Right? Isn't that your logic? That because the OT didn't specifically mention Mohammad by name that must mean Mohammad just made the shit up?

In pre-Christian Greece, they believed in multiple Gods. OMG, they used the term God to mean something else than the God of the Christians! OMG OMG OMG.....

Idiot.... the Arabic definition of ALLAH when translated to English is "God" NOT 'Father of the gods'.

You are just making shit up.

SF believes this is not bigoted, but believing that muslims altered who god is, is bigoted

9:30 And the Jews say, Ezra is the son of Allah, and the Christians say, the Messiah is the son of Allah; that is what they say with their mouths. They imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before them. Allah’s curse be on them! How are they turned away!

how tolerant, allah curses me, but that belief is not bigoted. if allah curses me, then how can allah be god?

By that standard it is IMPOSSIBLE to reconcile the contradictions between Jews and Christians, thus by YOUR standards they also do not believe in the same God.

Not at all hard to reconcile the contradictions between Jews and Christians, they merely have a different interpretation of the same god, which can't be the same deity as Islam worships. They both believe in the Hebrew story of Abraham and his sons, and their history predates Islam by several centuries, of which time, Muslim worshiped multiple Gods, Allah being one of them. Early Muslims were taught that Allah was superior to all other Gods, THE God... this is where the misnomer comes from, that Islam worships the same God as Jews and Christians, and from the unsubstantiated claim from Mohamed to be a descendant of Ishmael, son of Abraham. It's akin to some hippie nutjob in San Francisco proclaiming he is Jesus who has returned to Earth... There is no basis on which to believe Mohamed is the descendant of Abraham, and the supposed genealogy presented, doesn't comport with rationality. We are to believe that people lived 2,500 years and then had offspring? This is what they believe, because the prophet Mohamed said so.

The rest of your idiocy is just that... idiocy. It is again what YOU are proclaiming that they believe. You are a bigot and thus you try to make Islam into some 'violent brown skin people who wanna kill everybody'

Okay, so now you are going to offer as rebuttal and refutation, your opinion that I have presented idiocy, and that is it? That's the gist of your debate? I'm an idiot and bigot because you think I am, and nothing else need be discussed here... let's all just move along and not ask SF any tough questions or challenge his opinion. I have said not one single solitary word about "brown skin" or any other color of skin, Superfreak, and for YOU to take this discussion into the gutter like that, from just a sheer intellectual standpoint, is appalling and disgusting, to be honest. You just proved what an absolute pinhead moron you are.

Maybe you should ask God that question?

One day, Yurt will grow up and be a real boy... who learns the difference between a STORY and an ENTITY

ironic, given you believe the entity is from a story.

cracks me up how you defend an entity you believe doesn't exist. i think you're just a stubborn brat who hates admitting they're wrong and so now you will double, and triple down just so you don't have to admit you're wrong.

how much longer are you going to keep dune behind your skirts? does he blow up your skirt too? :D

Really Dixie, before there were muslims, Allah meant father of gods?

That is your answer?

Even you must be embarressed by now.

Not at all hard to reconcile the contradictions between Jews and Christians, they merely have a different interpretation of the same god

So, you are just going to say the same thing over and over again without any evidence. Despite ALL the differences that CANNOT be reconciled. ESPECIALLY the Three-in-One God vs. the ONE God? You are such a fucking hypocrite.

which can't be the same deity as Islam worships. They both believe in the Hebrew story of Abraham and his sons, and their history predates Islam by several centuries

Again.... TIMING has NOTHING to do with whether the Entity is the same or not. NOTHING.

Again.... STORIES ABOUT the entity being different doesn't make the ENTITY different.

of which time, Muslim worshiped multiple Gods, Allah being one of them. Early Muslims were taught that Allah was superior to all other Gods, THE God... this is where the misnomer comes from, that Islam worships the same God as Jews and Christians, and from the unsubstantiated claim from Mohamed to be a descendant of Ishmael, son of Abraham. ROFLMAO... Your desperation is showing ditzie. What the Arab people believed PRIOR to Islam is 100% IRRELEVANT. Because AGAIN... PRIOR to Christianity, those that would become Christian ALSO believed in OTHER GODS. You fucking idiot.

Okay, so now you are going to offer as rebuttal and refutation, your opinion that I have presented idiocy, and that is it? That's the gist of your debate? I have already addressed your idiocy far more times than I should have. You keep making one wild proclamation after another and trying desperately to stretch things to justify your bigoted comments.

Maybe you should ask God that question?

ROFLMAO.... so in other words, you, like yurt, are too much of a coward to answer the basic question whose answer proves you are a bigoted idiot?

Coward.
