A friend applied for Soc Sec disability, and reading through the stuff - if you're alcoholic or on pot or other drugs, you can't get disability. They didn't seem to make exceptions for medical marijuana. So yeah, even if it's medically allowed, there could be other govt depts that will screw you over...

I seriously wonder about you guys here. Do any of you understand coercion, consent, and cultural internalization? It is so funny how you all seem to grasp it when we are talking about the Muslim culture!

It isn't. In this day and age we have laws that would protect women if there is no consent.
I do understand all of these. However, I am the guy that was studying the weird kinks for a novel I was writing and fully understand that this would fall under that same umbrella. That they are doing it for "Jesus" just makes it a different way to look at a same kink.
Should a woman and a man decide to do this not for "Jesus" but because they like the submissive/Dominant lifestyle it seems you would have no objection, but that they like it and use their religion to justify their alternative lifestyle you then object.
I fully understand that religion has been used to control people, women and children especially, but I also understand that people have a right to consent to an alternative lifestyle that even Darla finds disturbing.

Again, with the same secular kink you've had no objection even though the result is the same. The only difference here is the word "Jesus". The assumption that the consenting lifestyle of others should be banned because it offends Darla is not the meaning of "tolerance", it is totalitarian.
Now that is something we need to change. We do not, however, need to make the consenting choices of other adults illegal because there is this lack and you don't like what they do.

You seem to be unable to grasp what consent means. I'm not surprised there is yet another JPP guy with this problem, but I am slightly surprised you have it.
And you are as well. The reality is, if they are consenting there really is nothing you should be able to do about it, if it is not then it is a travesty and should be stopped. The assumption that there can be no consent because you don't like it is what I find grossly out of whack.
Almost none of us would choose to live this way, but that doesn't mean that nobody would or that we should make it illegal.
Then we are in agreement, and you are finding objection in agreement yet again. If you don't think we should make it "stop" by any means, as your previous posts seem to suggest, then we pretty much agree on the subject. Whether or not you like spankings notwithstanding, some people like the 24/7 sub/Dom relationships, even if we think they are strange. That they add religion into the mix just makes it a different twist on an old kink.
