So its only the right: Democrat Harry Mitchell Places Opponent in Crosshairs

Unbelievable. Pointing out another's hypocrisy is not "hack", it is simply pointing out the hypocrisy.

Yurt has lost his mind, and lied much more than usual about me today. Hardly surprising that you'd try to defend him.

Have you checked your board today?

About you personally? I haven't read all the threads. I'll be sure to point it out if I see it. Can you give one or two examples for us so we can know why you'd call him a hack for pointing out simple hypocrisy?

your link deos not work like i told you multiple times, perhaps you are projecting again and the crosshairs are clearly still there, you said there weren't

wrong, wrong, wrong....you said

yet unfortunately for you, you're wrong

I posted the same link as you. Did you even read post 15?

Check your settings, the link works for me. Did you even try to paste it into the browser or are you just shooting from the hip as usual?

You understand nothing, NOTHING.

I said I looked at the Mitchell ad and it was wrong, wrong, wrong to use crosshairs. Yet in your reflexive desire to blame me for anything, you misinterpreted my post AGAIN.

What a hack you are, and a dishonest one to boot.

oh i see....it no longer matters and you no longer have to be upset about it because it happened in the past

everything you've cited except palin's poster is from the past, someone even pulled up a dixie quote from a year ago and you certainly didn't jump in and proclaim it is not relevent because it happened a year ago

oh no, time is only a factor if its the left

when you start actually calling people out, acting concerned about leftwing rhetoric like you're so concerned about right wing rhetoric, then you might have something, all you have now are empty words

when you enter a thread that details left wing violent rhetoric and only attack me, it says alot about your priorities and you're once again DEFENDING at worst or at best MINIMIZING the left wing rhetoric by saying it happen during bush years

can't you see how fucking stupid that is? oh, we must only analyze right wing rhetoric in order to understand the shooter, but we don't need to consider left wing rhetoric at all because it supposedly isn't occuring now

i hope you change your mind

Again, what left wing shooter are you referring to?

That's what this has been about all along, shooting.

Put up or shut up.

I'd like to thank Gerud and Mojo for starting this shit, and Yurt for continuing it.

Am I missing anyone?

yeah, i guess my four threads was OTT, but they were each a specific sub issue....and i wanted them seperate, but i guess they could have been combined, but i know they would have been ignored

For two days you've been all over this board like a chicken with its head cut off, trying to deflect from the use of violent imagery. Out of dozens of comments, you made two tepid posts saying you disagreed with the images:

i don't agree with her imagery...
i never ignored it, when the poster first came out i was against it

I guess this is your CYA tactic, pre-emptively giving yourself a pass while continuing the lie of saying libs are blaming Palin. We didn't say anything different than you did but for us the comments mean blaming Palin, for you they mean exactly what you wrote.

The fact is that the topic of using violent graphics has been all over the media since the shooting happened, but you prefer to ignore that, because it doesn't quite fit with your tiresome theory of "calling out" the other side.

Then maybe the left leaners shouldn't have tried so hard to make this political.

What left wing violent rhetoric is currently being spoken? I'm not talking about the bush years. Give me something to go by Yurt, in fact, make up a check list so I can criticize them all in one fell swoop.

It is WRONG to use violent rhetoric in political arena no matter whether by DEMOCRATS OR REPUBLICANS.

Now, do you accept this or are you going to move the goal posts again?

If it is so wrong, why did you wait until now to condemn it?

I think the ad is just fine, actually.

the methaphor is focus
the crosshairs focus in and out.

Sarah's methaphor was similar

I don't believe that the ad urged anybody to shoot anybody at all, nor do I think Sarah targeting their seats did, or Kos putting a "bulls eye" on them, or any of the other people who focused on the seats in question. Kos doesn't like her for blue-dogging it, Sarah for her caucusing with the Ds...

It's all good really. They were just gimmicks to get people out to vote, or to convince people not to vote for somebody and nobody, even this lunatic, ever went out and did anything to any of these people because of these gimmicks.

I've seen other ads with that image, usually whey they are a "target" of an investigation or some other nonsense. It's pretty old hat, so was Sarah's website list, and Kos's list. The only reason that Sarah's list got some notice was because she's Sarah.

Christie will NEVER climb down off her hypocritical high horse-she's been riding it for so long her ass looks like a saddle.

Seems like people have had a memory lapse and have forgotten that rhetoric and innuendo are part of our culture.
But it seems that it has only become important NOW.

:lol:Onceler and Christiefan get pwned by Yurt ??? Ya gotta call 'em

like ya see 'em....:)

Still running from this question, fathead?

Let's get down to brass tacks, meathead.

Do you or don't you approve of the following comments:

"Rep Gabrielle Giffords' 2010 Congressional opponent held a June event that encouraged participants to "Get On Target For Victory In November. Help Remove Gabrielle For Office. Shoot a fully automatic M16 with Jesse Kelly."

Sarah Palin posted this ad on her facebook page and tweeted, “Commonsense Conservatives & lovers of America: “Don’t Retreat, Instead – RELOAD!” Pls see my Facebook page.”

"Controversial Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) said this weekend that she wants residents of her state "armed and dangerous" over President Barack Obama's plan to reduce global warming "because we need to fight back."

Asked about the White House-backed cap-and-trade proposal to reduce carbon emissions, Bachmann told WWTC 1280 AM, "I want people in Minnesota armed and dangerous on this issue of the energy tax because we need to fight back. Thomas Jefferson told us 'having a revolution every now and then is a good thing,' and the people -- we the people -- are going to have to fight back hard if we're not going to lose our country."
