Sending Tanks To The Ukraine.

The only explanation offered was a complete lie, which is how you know that the problem is that I track too close to the truth.

Oh, you mean this manufacturer's broadsheet , maggot.

A British Challenger 2 tank was hit directly by 14 RPGs and an anti-tank missile in Iraq. The crew was uninjured and the tank was back in operation 6 hours later. Another survived 70 RPG hits. Only 1 Challenger 2 has been destroyed in combat; by another Challenger 2 in a friendly fire incident.

You've claimed yourself that this tank was destroyed by a tank shell. Your own wormtongue marks you as a demented capitalist propagandist- and a numpty.

Haw, haw...........................haw.

I'm not sure what the reluctance is. Fear Ukraine's going to steal or sell our technology to enemies? Fear of retaliation from Russia?

Well unlike the Korean or Vietnamese wars, the Ukraine is right on Russia's doorstep. The only real way to stop attacks from Russia is to attack the places in Russia where the attacks are coming from. Inside Russia. Putin said that he would use nukes if he had to. And he is probably crazy enough to do so. Though I'm sure that giving Ukraine weapons, we could get them to promise to not go into Russia itself. As for our military technology, I saw a couple different things on news programs some years ago. They said that Chinese hackers had managed to steal most of our secret military technology. So in that regard, the cat is already out of the bag.

No doubt you have all seen this if you watch the news. The Ukraine is asking the West for tanks. But there seems to be some reluctance to do so. There was also reluctance to send the Ukraine fighter jets. But I don't see what the big deal is. During both the Korean War and the Vietnamese War, Russia sent both of them tanks and aircraft. I say that Tzar Putin and Russia in general could use a little payback in that regard. I see that there seems to be some reluctance to reply to me. But I will ask it anyway. Do you agree or disagree.

We aren't the worlds Cop! Who's buying the tanks?

Looks to me like the West's "strategy" is not to allow Ukraine to win the war outright but to create a stalemate. With the weapons the West could give to Ukraine they could probably win fairly easily.
I guess they don't want to hurt Moscow's feeeelings, else provoke them into using nukes. That's all I can figure.

As I said someplace else, the day after I wrote this thread, Poland said they would send the Ukraine tanks. Other European countries are sure to follow. So the point of my thread is fairly moot now.

Yes Europe needs to send the Leopard 2 and the US should send 15 Abrams . The Abrams will be a logistic problem but it will eliminate Germany's excuse and force their hand.

From what I have heard, the problem with the M1 Abrams is that it uses jet fuel. And there is question as to whether or not the Ukraine could fuel them.
