Sending Tanks To The Ukraine.

You have trouble with basic reading comprehension dont ya.

Read the article

With more than a thousand of the latest American and South Korean tanks scheduled to arrive in Poland over the next decade, the roughly 250 Leopard 2s in the Polish army’s inventory soon should be excess to need. Poland could start giving them away right now and suffer, at worst, a fleeting capability gap.

It’s an inventory issue idiot

No doubt you have all seen this if you watch the news. The Ukraine is asking the West for tanks. But there seems to be some reluctance to do so. There was also reluctance to send the Ukraine fighter jets. But I don't see what the big deal is. During both the Korean War and the Vietnamese War, Russia sent both of them tanks and aircraft. I say that Tzar Putin and Russia in general could use a little payback in that regard. I see that there seems to be some reluctance to reply to me. But I will ask it anyway. Do you agree or disagree.
Yes Europe needs to send the Leopard 2 and the US should send 15 Abrams . The Abrams will be a logistic problem but it will eliminate Germany's excuse and force their hand.

I dont need to, the headline alone tells me that Germany has indicated it will not veto Poland sending tanks, Germany is not sending the tanks.

Obviously you've never heard of explosive reactive armour otherwise you wouldn't spout such bullshit.

A British Challenger 2 tank was hit directly by 14 RPGs and an anti-tank missile in Iraq. The crew was uninjured and the tank was back in operation 6 hours later. Another survived 70 RPG hits. Only 1 Challenger 2 has been destroyed in combat; by another Challenger 2 in a friendly fire incident.

It's always the same pattern of behaviour with Nutberg, post some bullshit which is then shot down in flames and he then heads for the hills to lick his wounds.

The problem with Challenger 2 tanks at least is that the reactive Chobham armour is still secret. Only Abrams tanks use the technology as well. The armour is so effective that it can survive a direct hit from a T-72 shell.

Yes. Too bad about the crew inside. Still, they're much cheaper than tanks, eh maggot.

For the avoidance of WW3 the best outcome of this NATO arms-manufacturers' card-shuffling would be for the Russians to knock out any Western equipment before it gets to the front line.

THAT is the route of fewest casualties.

Well part of the problem is that the Germans have almost nothing that is operational, as in it could go more than a few days without breaking down. That very well might also be true of the UK tanks.

I doubt what you say. I'm sure Germany has many tanks. But it appears I spoke too soon anyway. Yesterday on the news they said that Poland would start sending the Ukraine tanks. Other European countries are sure to follow.

Following a media report about mass outages of the Puma infantry fighting vehicle during a recent drill, German Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht said the manufacturers must fix any problems quickly or see the program canceled.

Fresh problems with the Puma, which has a history of iffy performance that officials thought were largely resolved, came to light after German has made the vehicle a cornerstone of its contributions to NATO’s Very High-Readiness Joint Task Force. Berlin will pick up the helm for that formation, and be its largest troop contributor with up to 2,700 troops, on Jan. 1, 2023.

What they dont say is in a recent exercise every single one turned up non-op. Also that this sort of shit performance from the Germans has become rountine.

I love the way you endow the Chinese with such miraculous powers, yet their most recent MBT the third gen Type 99 is no match for Leopard 2, Abrams M1 or Challenger 2. They are reportedly working on a fourth gen MBT but it's mostly vapourware at present.

You're arguing with a mentally ill person.

Disagree. Let the two duke it out and we should say out of it. There is ZERO for the US to gain from backing Ukraine in this.
