Russia resorts to 'highly inaccurate' weapon after running out of options

Such a load of crap. The Ukrainian's are kicking Russia's ass despite Russian's superior numbers and firepower. You, like the rest of us should be praising the Ukrainians and their efforts.

But no - you look for the most harmful thing to say - something you hope will inflict pain. Then, when people ask you to elaborate you either ignore or troll them. Why? You are not smart enough to think more than oone step ahead.

You are a terrible community member here.

Porkeye is a free thinker. You sound scripted from birth.

Russian forces are engaged in a fierce battle in eastern Ukraine, as they continue their attempts to take control of the Donbas. Intense fighting is currently raging in the city of Sieverodonetsk, where Ukrainian and Russian soldiers are locked in deadly combat. The city, like many others in Ukraine, has been subjected to a brutal barrage of Russian artillery and air strikes, which have led to devastating destruction and loss low life.

New intelligence reports from the UK's Ministry of Defence (MoD) suggest the Russian tyrant is having to resort to ever more desperate measures in the pursuit of his war aims.

With stocks of precision weapons running low, the Kremlin has been forced to wheel out Cold War-era arms to continue its brutal assault.

In particular, Putin's army is reported to be using Kh-22 missiles, that were originally intended to target aircraft carriers using nuclear warheads.

The MoD said in its Saturday bulletin: "Since April, Russian medium bombers have likely launched dozens of 1960s era Kh-22 air-launched, heavy anti-ship missiles against land targets.

"These 5.5-tonne missiles were primarily designed to destroy aircraft carriers using a nuclear warhead.

"When employed in a ground attack role with a conventional warhead they are highly inaccurate and can therefore cause significant collateral damage and civilian casualties.
"Russia is likely resorting to such inefficient weapon systems because it is running short of more precise modern missiles, while Ukrainian air defences still deter its tactical aircraft from conducting strikes across much of their country."

Last week, the British Defence Secretary travelled to Kyiv to hold talks with Ukraine's President.

The meetings focused on the UK continuing to provide operationally effective lethal aid that meets the current and future threats facing Ukraine.

Mr Zelensky later praised the UK for its support, describing Britain as "a real friend".

Just to be clear, Russia hasn't run out of option. They have a simple option they haven't taken yet: give up this attempt to expand their territory by military force. They can withdraw their forces from Ukraine and get to work fixing the diplomatic, military, and economic damage Putin did to Russia.

Express sure seems to be one sided. I never see anything but negative articles about Russia and Putin.
BBC seems more balanced.

Putin launched an unprovoked attempt to conquer a peaceful neighbor. Anybody striving for "balance" when it comes to such fascist tactics is committing journalistic malpractice. A straight-forward and honest telling of the facts is going to be very one-sided, and overwhelmingly negative towards Putin.

Russia's actions were prompted by the US-backed coup of 2014 and the Azov Nazi attacks on those that objected to the coup- 8 years of attacks with 14,000 casualties.
You might think that history will put this down to ' Russian aggression' but I believe you're wrong.

Even then, Russia held back seeking NATO guarantees of Russia's security. They were ignored. You wanted this war- here it is.

No. Russia didn't invade when their puppet government was rejected by the Ukrainian people. They invaded many years later, at a moment when Putin miscalculated and thought he could strike effectively enough and quickly enough that it would be a done deal before effective resistance could be organized. He was wrong, of course, and now Russia's military had been humiliated and Putin has reduced his people to a state of generally poverty. Oops.

Russia's security was never in question, as you know. The question was whether Russia would make good on its promises of Ukrainian security (the promises they offered in exchange for Ukraine giving up their nukes). We know now that Putin's word isn't worth shit.

I'm really quite bored with correcting the NATO narrative. There's a war on - let's see who comes out of it as ' winner '. If it isn't you then stfu.

No, it's not boredom; it's frustration. You've been tasked with pushing Putin's narrative, and it's frustrating as hell that you can't get any traction. The pesky facts keep interfering with your taking points. Poor little dear.

Also, it's not just NATO that is blowing up Putin's false narrative. You can get the news from pretty much any source that isn't controlled by Putin and you'll hear the same thing, including lots of news sources in non-NATO nations (Ukraine, Sweden, Australia, Japan, South Korea, Switzerland, and so on). This isn't Putin versus NATO. It's Putin versus reality. Any place where Putin lacks control is effectively aligned against his false narrative.

You mean you're tired of parroting the same old bullshit over and over, good, so then you should stfu for once in your miserable life.

I talking about never hearing about Ukrainian setbacks in the war, and there are some. As far as Putin, it’s he’s dying of cancer’, or ‘he’ll be out of office in three months’. Hogwash.
Yes I’m well aware he’s no good and totally in the wrong.

I talking about never hearing about Ukrainian setbacks in the war, and there are some.

I follow the news mostly through the NYT, and they cover that amply. Like the top Ukraine story on their front page, right now, is "Russian Forces Move Into Center of Sievierodonesk," with a sub-headline about Ukraine saying its troops have lost ground.

As far as Putin, it’s he’s dying of cancer’, or ‘he’ll be out of office in three months’.

This is literally the first I've heard about Putin dying of cancer. I Googled that, to see where it's coming from. The first several hits were for obscure tabloids, and the first one to a source I've heard of is from Rupert Murdoch's tabloid, the New York Post. Further down the list, though, there is a Newsweek story saying that a classified US report claimed he'd had cancer treatment in April.

You're another Mina-type idiot, maggot, a relay station for western deceit. Your broadcasts of Ukrainian Nazi victory will, I dare say, haunt you before long. We'll catalogue them with some other classic claims of yours;

There is no pandemic.
Trump will win
There is no global warming
The Boeing 737 MAX is a safe aircraft
Brexit is economically successful
Th Daily Mail is a respected journal

Lying seems to be second nature to you, along with massive exaggeration. Par for the course for Marxist muttonheads.
