The Russian are avoiding the scenario wherein Ukraine is a nuclear-armed NATO member . In that scenario disarming Ukraine would mean nuclear war, according to NATO's ' Three Musketeers ' millstone.

Ukraine can either be neutral or it can be Russian. Them's the choices.

Or we could stand up and allow Ukraine their freedom to chose.

You just posted this because she said they're building an "international legion," Komrade.

Russia has told Ukraine it is ready to halt military operations "in a moment" if Kyiv meets a list of conditions, the Kremlin said on Monday.

1. Ukraine ceases military action

Stop the killing

2. Ukraine changes its constitution to enshrine neutrality

That means no more NATO threats

3. Acknowledge Crimea as Russian territory

Admit the reality that Crimea has been Russian land since 2014

4. Recognize the republics of Donetsk and Lugansk as independent

They don't want to be part of Ukraine

And that's it. It will stop in a moment," the Kremlin said.

Looks like a zero-sum deal that's only to Russia's benefit. What's in it for Ukraine? And don't say it will "stop the killing" because Russians are being killed, too. Apparently the Kremlin considers them cannon fodder.

Nope Ukraine should not agree to number 4. And Russian should have to pay for the Damage it's done in Dollars not Rubles. And we can't expect Russia to honor their end of the bargain anyway.

Russia will destroy Ukraine before they allow that.

It is being rubbleized now.

So Ukraine can fight for freedom or not, their choice.

Fighting will result in lots of rubble, capitulation will result in Russian control.

They are not fighting for freedom, they are fighting to be able to continue to be hostile towards Russia.

This is all downside for them, and they were pushed into it by America.

They are fighting for freedom from Russian bullying.

I seriously doubt they would agree with you.

Ukraine is not so unified in opinion as is advertised, and I expect them to wise up eventually. They have been gullible and reckless, and now they are getting their asses kicked, which represents justice.

If it was any of your business, you could ask Putin.

Since it's not, you can't.
