Republicans are in full damage control mode

If you truly believed this, then how come on 1/6 you parked your ass right here on JPP and switched between your socks?

You didn't go to DC to do anything about it, which means you didn't really believe it yourself.

You're a phony and I see right through this act of yours.

What socks???????!? YALSA. Your call for civil war is noted yet again. Repetition fallacy (chanting).

Right, you come on an anonymous forum and run your mouth, but then when the time comes for you to put muscle behind that big mouth, you chicken out.
Assumption of victory fallacy.
Or you didn't want to go to jail for the stupidest lie ever told.
Not a crime, and not a lie.
Regardless, the point that you are insincere and disingenuous stands unchallenged.
Assumption of victory fallacy.

No argument presented. Trolling.

... yet at the same time, many state laws would actually be weakened by such a sweeping federal position. However, the federal government has no power to legislate abortion. Doing so is unconstitutional.

That is a lost cause. The Supreme Court years ago gave Congress power to regulate anything that "affects" interstate commerce. When it can regulate marijuana because the grandmother who uses weed in her home is affecting the market price, it can regulate abortion.

No you didn't...you called COVID a hoax,
Gaslighting. He never did.
then when it started killing people,
Covid19 does not kill.
you moved the bar
Fallacy fallacy.
and said you called the hysteria a hoax...
Which is all he said from the beginning. He is correct.
AS THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE WERE DYING A DAY FROM IT.
Covid19 does not kill. Argument from randU fallacy. Fear mongering.
We all remember what you were doing in the first half of 2020 because we don't have long COVID brain like you do.
Random words. No apparent coherency.
How come Trump let all those people die?
RQAA
Because 2020 was the deadliest year for Americans ever.
Argument from randU fallacy.
If you truly believed this, then you would have gone to DC on 1/6 to do something about it.

But you didn't. You sat right here on JPP and posted all day when you claimed you were working, just like you're doing today...a Wednesday you previously said you always worked.

I guess that was just another bullshit lie from you.
Repetition fallacy (chanting). Your call for civil war is again noted.

The Supreme Court does not have authority to change the Constitution. The Constitution does not authorize fascism. Congress has NO authority to regulate marijuana or any other drug. Congress has NO authority over abortion.

If you truly believed that then how come on 1/6/21, your ass was parked right here on JPP egging the whole thing on?

Also, if you truly believed that horseshit, why weren't you in DC on the one day you could have done something about it?

You don't believe it because you weren't willing to risk anything for it.

You just ran your big mouth.

Because he's a fat, smelly pussy

Gaslighting. He never did.
Covid19 does not kill.

COVID does not kill?

I can't wait to hear your reasoning for this statement, Into the Cult.

I don't recall either party ever misjudging societal views as badly as Republicans did on abortion.

Sen. Lindsey Graham introduces bill to ban most abortions nationwide after 15 weeks

Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham introduced a bill Tuesday that would ban most abortions nationwide starting at 15 weeks of pregnancy.

The South Carolina senator introduced the bill less than three months after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, the landmark ruling that established the constitutional right to abortion. The measure would sharply narrow abortion access in numerous states — especially blue states, which tend to have more abortion rights protections.

The legislation has little chance of passing Congress as it currently stands, as Democrats hold slim majorities in both the House and Senate.

It arrives ahead of the pivotal November midterm elections, where expectations of a Republican rout have been thrown into doubt as evidence mounts that the reversal of Roe has galvanized Democratic voters. Pro-abortion rights advocates have warned that a GOP takeover of Congress would lead to an erosion of women’s rights, and many were quick to hold up Graham’s bill as a prime example.

“Are you all ready for a nation wide abortion ban? Vote for republicans and that’s what you’ll get,” tweeted progressive activist David Hogg Tuesday morning.

While the title of Graham’s bill suggests it would bar only “late-term” abortions, it would restrict the procedure nationwide after less than four months of pregnancy, a threshold that falls within the second trimester.

Abortions are typically considered “late term” at 21 weeks of pregnancy or later, according the health-policy nonprofit KFF. But that organization notes that that phrase is not an official medical term, and that abortions at that stage are rarely sought and difficult to obtain.

It's hilarious the hoops the MAGA crowd has to jump through now to be palatable. In order to win their primaries they all claim to be election deniers and anti abortion at conception... then in their generals, all of the sudden all that preaching and language disappears from their websites and stump speeches.

Poor GOP fuckers have backed their Nazi asses into a corner alright.

That particular position is supported by most people, dude... some might even say that it is supported by a supermajority of citizens.

However, the federal government has no place legislating abortion (per that darn pesky constitution). I take issue with this bill for that very reason just as I take issue with any Demonkkkrat bill trying to legalize it. This is a state level issue, not a federal one...

Personally, I care much more about skyrocketing inflation, gas prices, food prices, heating/cooling prices, crime, creepy shit being pushed on children in indoctrination centers on the taxpayer dime, and illegal border crossings than I do about distractionary social issues such as this one. MAGA is about "the economy, stupid" (a unifying winning issue). Demonkkkrats and RINOs want to divert away from that and instead focus on divisive social bullshit. I'm not falling for it. People don't care about divisive social bullshit when they can't afford basic necessities. This is a unifying winning issue for MAGA so long as MAGA keeps hammering it home to people.

It is NOT the position supported by most people dumb fuck.

I'll give you libtards credit you've patiently spent decades making people so stupid that they thought they had a right to abortion and now don't realize they still can get an abortion. What you cum stains have done to America is evil.

You're a troll and a moron. Go fuck yourself, bitch.

Wow you sure suck at reading and comprehension... holy hell...

Did you even read what you posted in your OP?? The "particular position" is the position that YOU put in great big large bold letters in YOUR very own OP...

Holy fuck, it's painful speaking to such a fucking retard who can't perform basic reading and comprehension...

Yes, I'm being mean but it is truly THAT fucking painful.

Your OP is a lie. You're a failure.

You seem angry. Is there anything you want to talk about?

The point of my post was to call out that the 15 week ban legislation is part of the "damage control" because it's Republicans that have largely been claiming that life begins at conception and any intentional ending of even the earliest life is killing a baby. Hence my attempt to clarify what you were referring to.

Like most twumptard trolls the OP's just full of rage and hatred.

I don't recall either party ever misjudging societal views as badly as Republicans did on abortion.

It is going to get much worse for Republicans. They have been holding off on enacting and enforcing anti-abortion laws so as not to give voters examples of what this all means for America. They have even denied some of the few cases where their laws have been enforced (Everyone remember the 10 year old rape victim who had to flee to another state). They cannot do this forever.

A month and a half from now, voters will not have in their mind any cases where anti-abortion laws were catastrophic. Two years from now, voters will have in their mind cases where doctors were arrested for trying to save the lives of women, and of women who died from laws that banned their reasonable treatment.

Most voters support legal abortion, but do not care much about it when Roe V. Wade guaranteed it whoever they voted for. They could vote for a Republican, knowing he could not outlaw abortion. Now they can no longer not care. They will know for sure they have to care in 2024.

I have said it before, and I will say it again, this may well be the last hurrah for the Republicans. They have really made a severe strategic mistake.

You seem angry. Is there anything you want to talk about?

Most of the Republican Party seems to be losing their minds to anger. It is disturbing to watch. You try to give them dry statistics, and they answer back they want to kill your children.
