Ohio police shoot pregnant woman

Again, we weren't there.

correct

this cop had to make a split second decision...for not only his life but the life's of the other people in parking lot that would have been in danger of being hit by a 4000 pound car with a deranged nut behind the wheel

people say Ashli could have killed someone if not shot

this deranged nut could have killed someone if not shot.... a 5 year old in the parking...as far as I know their were no 5 yo children in danger because of Ashil!

The shooter escalated a situation through tactical error....not that you know anything about tactics, vols. LOL

Ashli was the tip of the spear, the mob was the weapon. The mob had been attacking Congress for almost two hours, clearly intent on hanging Mike Pence. When Ashli broached the final barrier to Mike Pence, the police finally used lethal force. Had I been in charge, I'd have shot down the first row of terrorists and traitors the moment they crossed the threshold of Congress and then kept shooting subsequent rows until the they retreated.

I suspect next time that will be exactly how it plays out which is why all the Pedo Nazis, WSE militias and oath-breaking traitors have faded back into the sewers of America.

A car is considered a deadly weapon if it's driven toward a person.

She had gun pointed at her head over an alleged shoplifting! What kind of police training is that? Do they shoot jaywalkers in that city, too?

She made the decision to try to drive away from the gun and the cop thought that was a capital crime, so he killed her.

There's something wrong with you people trying to justify this murder.

she wasnt shot at for shoplifting

she was a law breaker before she even went in the store

So another justification for killing a non-felon? You guys keep tip-toeing around the point that what she did... alleged shoplifting, refusal to leave the car... wasn't a capital offense. No gun should have been pulled in the first place.

She left the bottles of booze in the store so no theft! .

Lie!

Young, who by that point has at least eight liquor bottles concealed in her tote bag and purse, has another two bottles in the shopping basket and is waiting in line. As the other two women, who also have bottles concealed in bags they were carrying, approach her in the checkout line, the three leave together and immediately exit the store.

The footage shows none of the women setting down their bags. The other two women get into a vehicle parked in a different aisle of the store's parking lot.

The cop already made a stupid split-second decision when he pulled the gun and pointed it at her head. He could have let her drive away and then go after her later.

So cops should not pull guns till AFTER a capital offense is committed?

So if cops had confronted Dylann Roof they should not pull their guns till AFTER he shot someone...Got it ..fucking IDIOT

Why didn't the cops right behind Ashli Babbitt shoot? Because it was excessive force that's why!

Your idea of what comprises the use of deadly force is on par with a 3rd grader explaining relativity. Totally fucked up. Babbitt was surrounded by fellow rioters there wasn't a clear shot. She was shot trying to get into the house chambers thus threating congressmen and women.

Babbitt, wearing a Trump flag as a cape, was among several dozen rioters who approached the doors to the Speaker's Lobby, adjacent to the House chambers.[5][55] Three uniformed officers were posted outside the Lobby where they were threatened by the crowd. One member of the mob yelled, "Fuck the Blue" (blue being a reference to the police). One officer guarding the doors told the others "They're ready to roll", and the three officers moved away from the barricaded doors leading to the Speaker's Lobby.[5] No longer impeded by police, one rioter, Zachary Jordan Alam, smashed a glass window beside the doors.[12][56] On the other side of those doors, many lawmakers and staff were being evacuated by Capitol Police,[8] but some were trapped in the House balcony.[57]

After "he's got a gun" was yelled several times when Lieutenant Michael Byrd aimed his weapon,[58] Babbitt, hoisted by two men,[18] began to climb through the shattered window. She was then shot in the left shoulder[9] by Lieutenant Byrd[10][8] and fell back among the other protesters.[18] Babbitt had been warned not to proceed through the window: one witness recalled that "A number of police and Secret Service were saying 'Get back! Get down! Get out of the way!'; [Babbitt] didn't heed the call."[59]

Many rioters immediately began to leave the scene, making room for a Capitol Police emergency response team to get in and administer aid, and Babbitt was transported to Washington Hospital Center where she later died. She was 35 years old.[8] Some media reports described Babbitt as "unarmed" at the time of the shooting;[60][61] according to a January 11, 2021 crime scene examination report by the D.C. Department of Forensic Sciences, the police "[r]ecovered a 'Para Force' folding knife in Ms. Babbitt's pants pocket" after she was shot.[62][63][64][65][66]

U.S. Representative Markwayne Mullin (R-OK), a witness to Babbitt's attempted breach, said that Lieutenant Byrd "didn't have a choice" but to shoot, and that his action "saved people's lives".[50][67]

Correct she did have the stolen items. That still isn't an excuse for deadly force.

That's just a single image from the footage. Let's see the whole thing.

What was the capital offense here, refusing to leave the vehicle? Unlike Dylann Roof she wasn't armed to the teeth and looking to kill someone.

DWB. In Ohio, and now Philly, not being White and Male is seen as a threat to all white males. No need to thank me. :)

what was Ashli Babbitt capital offense

Leading a mob to hang Mike Pence and being part of a violent, almost two-hour assault on both police and Congress.

Why weren't you there, vols? Couldn't get a hall pass? Not allowed to leave your state? No key to the double doors leading to the outside? Just a chickenshit in general? All hat, no cattle? I'm curious why you support RW violence but never partake in it yourself.
