You should read back through the thread, and then re-evaluate your contention that I have "mostly" insulted. While I'm trying to make actual arguments, most of the righties (including yourself) are the ones spewing out "moron," "retard", "simpleton", et al.

I have explained that. The quote is definitely mischaracterized since the mandates he is referring to are contingent on affordability.

BULLSHIT. Premiums have been steadily increasing for decades, far outpacing inflation. Obamacare will eventualy reduce costs; presently the uninsured use emergency rooms as free health care clinics. This is very expensive, compared to real walk in clinics. Since they are uninsured, and have free care, the rest of us pay more. Additionaly, costs will be reduced by prevention, rather than cure.
If anyone REALLY wanted to reduce costs, single payer would do that, by eliminating the profit taking and administative costs of the private insurance companies ($310 for every $1000 spent.
