Less than 15% of mass killings are as described in the post I quoted, nothing you posted here changes that. That idiot was me. "Almost every" is an overstatement. I had in mind the specific common type of mass shooting, with "mass" meaning more than two or three, carried out with an AR 15 by a young male. I'm not aware of any of our school massacres that are not of this type, and a type that might be eliminated simply by taking the Rambo firepower out of the picture.

There are different types of mass killings in the United States, and they have different causes, one is not worse than the other, they should all be addressed and discussed and studied for solutions. Gang killings are different than these school/supermarket/parade killings. There are distinct patterns, which leads me to believe there are distinct causes and distinct solutions.

in every way possible......keep track of complaints on their record is an obvious starting point......two of the shooters this year had complaints filed against them that would have raised concerns about their intent but no one reported that to the appropriate authorities that would have prevented them from getting a permit.....that doesn't even require changing the law......it just requires doing what it already says is supposed to happen......

DEMOCRATS created the "Catch and Release" program for criminals (such as the July 4th shooter AND gang members).
The solution is to remove DEMOCRATS from power and enforce the law.

Quite a few of these had criminal records as well, but were release under the DEMOCRAT "Catch and Release" program of handling criminals.
