Agreed. TBH, I doubt she's being completely honest. It's impossible to tell whether or not Biden did something that offended her and, like Ford, the incident grew in her mind. Obviously the physical assault claim is hard to misinterpret if it happened. The hair-sniffing thing is more nebulous.

Again, when I was younger, in my 30s and especially in college, I have gotten handsy with women at parties/social gatherings. Obviously that behavior isn't condoned at all these days, but it was considered rude but "normal" in the 1970s. Reaching up a woman's dress and penetrating her cooch was considered sexual assault even then if at a party, but not as much on a bed with the door closed.

One Senator expressing his extreme interpretation of a belief or tenet does not make him the standard bearer for the rest.

Obviously there are differing interpretations of any idea, but the vast majority of Democrats do not subscribe to the notion that anyone, male or female, should just be automatically taken at their word when they accuse another person of something.

The notion that we do, is just another in a never ending line of right-wing bullshit propaganda tactics.

Lumping all Democrats and liberals together in the same basket is a worn out, overused tactic of the right and like the rest of them, losing its effectiveness.

Either way Ford's friend did not "believe her" - whether it was skepticism on her part or she disputed Ford's claim makes no difference. Nobody could back up Ford capiche'?

Again - there isn't anyone who has said believe NO MATTER WHAT after the evidence has been presented. It's about believing when the accusation is made - the benefit of the doubt.

It's really simple. Everyone knows there are false accusers & that there have been throughout history. You don't know who those are until the evidence is aired.
