Liar, Liar

Exactly.

I have my own judgments, but recognize that they are completely meaningless. To me, she seemed very credible.
It wasn't about just her. There were a number of other women who wanted to speak with the FBI, but were denied. Kavanaugh liked to expose himself to women when he was drunk. It seems he was often drunk.

Being an excitable adolescent doesn't necessarily disqualify you from serving on the SC. Being a liar, and an excitable adult does, though.

Why? There is nothing about those movements that claims every accuser is telling the truth 100%. Just that they should be given the benefit of the doubt.

Try again. The whole #metoo thing was based on "We must believe every woman". If it was only a lowly "benefit of the doubt"
the whole Kav thing would not have been pushed so hard with all the marches, protests and logos. You had him guilty before
the trial even began...the media made sure of that.

According to The Times, Reade who was then known as Alexandra McCabe described herself "as an expert in the dynamics of domestic violence who had counseled hundreds of victims," when she testified as a government witness in Monterey County for almost a decade.

In that December 2018 case, Reade gave an account of her educational background that conflicts with the account of university officials. When asked to detail her credentials as an expert in domestic violence in the case, Reade testified that she had a law degree from Seattle University and graduated from Antioch University in Seattle with a bachelor’s degree.
Karen Hamilton, a spokeswoman for Antioch University, said in a statement that Reade did not graduate and was never a faculty member. Reade attended Antioch for three academic quarters, in 2000 and part of 2001, the university said.

Bad for her. Being caught lying about something else shoots up her credibility. It's like a hooker trying to file a rape charge. Even if she was raped, her credibility works against her.

Sorry. That's ridiculous.

You guys hear things weird.

I very much wanted an investigation into the Kavanaugh matter. A thorough investigation. We did not get that.

What part? I do not doubt he and his drunken friends were having fun (not rape) at the expense of a teeny-bopper in a bikini. The best thing he could have done was say "I know I did some silly things in my teens, but I do not recall this incident. That doesn't mean it didn't happen and I sincerely apologize to anyone I offended in those days". Democrats wouldn't have forgiven him, but I think the other 70% of Americans would have accepted a Mea Culpa. Instead, I think he lied under oath even though that would be difficult to prove.

He is guilty. There never was a real investigation. Why doesn't that bother you?

Agree. The Ford case would have been very hard to prove, but it was hardly an isolated event. That's the issue. Nobody cared to find out who else he had to lie about.

feelings.. nothing more then feelings

I just hope after 30 or 40 years the women I was with that I made the "first move" on while we were drinking don't come after me. I'll be up shit creek....

Who gives a fuck, didn't you do anything, or anybody, you regretted later in life? I'm sure you weren't always so sanctimonious and holier than thou in your salad days!
