I'm not a Democrat, I'm not a liberal, and Biden was probably one of my last choices in that entire field of candidates. I don't think Biden is a good President. I disagree w/ probably half of his policies.

But there is no comparison to the previous admin. I feel like we have a rational government again, with people who are at least experienced and qualified.

As for Afghanistan, of course it could have been "better." But anyone who thought we'd be getting people out of their calmly on the backs of unicorns, and leaving behind a shining beacon of democracy, simply hasn't been paying attention. Not just to the past 20 years, but to the history of Afghanistan and our intervention in other countries in general.

Biden did the right thing. And history will remember him as the guy who ended a futile conflict (apologies to the brave men & women who served there for that characterization - I wish they didn't have to).
