It's ILLEGAL to shoot GAME in several states with an ASSAULT weapon.

Just out of curiosity.. which states is it illegal to use an AR-15 to hunt? I know in CO, so long as you don't load more than 3 rounds you could hunt with an AR-15. It's a semi-automatic weapon like any .223 I would normally hunt with, and I would have the same limitation with a different semi-automatic "hunting" rifle as I would with my AR-15 which uses the same ammunition.

I know in several of the more populous states one can’t hunt with a rifle at all. They’re shotgun only. Been that way for years. I’m guessing the OP lumps those states in there to bolster their “AR’s are bad and gotta go” agenda. Other than that I haven’t researched it.

Many definitions FASCISM BUT core tenets...

Fascism is a complex ideology. There are many definitions of fascism; some people describe it as a type or set of political actions, a political philosophy or a mass movement. Most definitions agree that fascism is authoritarian and promotes nationalism at all costs, but its basic characteristics are a matter of debate.

The core principle — what Paxton (Social Science PROF Emeritus) defined as fascism's only definition of morality — is to make the nation stronger, more powerful, larger and more successful. Since fascists see national strength as the only thing that makes a nation "good," fascists will use any means necessary to achieve that goal.

(Yep, sounds familiar)...

"a form of political practice distinctive to the 20th century that arouses popular enthusiasm by sophisticated propaganda techniques for an anti-liberal, anti-socialist, violently exclusionary, expansionist nationalist agenda."

"What Is Fascism?" According to Paxton, these regimes excel at propaganda and make use of grand gestures, such as parades and leaders' dramatic entrances. Fascists scapegoat and demonize other groups, though those groups differ by country and time.

(SCARY PART)

As a result, fascists aim to use the country's assets to increase the country's strength. This leads to a nationalization of assets, Montague (Australian writer/scholar on post war Fascism) said, and in this, fascism resembles Marxism.

Paxton, author of several books, including "The Anatomy of Fascism" (Vintage, 2005), said fascism is based more on feelings than philosophical ideas. In his 1988 essay "The Five Stages of Fascism," published in 1998 in the Journal of Modern History, he defined seven feelings that act as "mobilizing passions" for fascist regimes. They are:

-The primacy of the group. Supporting the group feels more important than maintaining either individual or universal rights.
Believing that one's group is a victim. This justifies any behavior against the group's enemies.

-The belief that individualism and liberalism enable dangerous decadence and have a negative effect on the group.

-A strong sense of community or brotherhood. This brotherhood's "unity and purity are forged by common conviction, if possible, or by exclusionary violence if necessary."

-Individual self-esteem is tied up in the grandeur of the group. Paxton called this an "enhanced sense of identity and belonging."

-Extreme support of a "natural" leader, who is always male. This results in one man taking on the role of national savior.

-"The beauty of violence and of will, when they are devoted to the group's success in a Darwinian struggle," Paxton wrote. The idea of a naturally superior group or, especially in Hitler's case, biological racism, fits into a fascist interpretation of Darwinism.

I'm not looking for definitions. Especially modern ones(too much goal post shuffling). I'm looking for examples of specific behaviors that would lead any thinking, rational human being to believe that Donald Trump is a fascist. Here is a summation that I like, I think it's from the same wikipedia article you quoted: Fascism is a form of radical authoritarian ultranationalism, characterized by dictatorial power, forcible suppression of opposition and control of industry and commerce, which came to prominence in early 20th-century Europe. The first fascist movements emerged in Italy during World War I before it spread to other European countries.

"radical authoritarian ultranationalism, characterized by dictatorial power, forcible suppression of opposition and control of industry and commerce", concentrate on THIS. And get used to this: left wing and right wing have nothing to do with ideology. It is a measure of how much government is in a system. On the extreme left(ALL the way to the left), is 100% government control over everything, on the extreme right there is NO government at all(I didn't come up with this BTW). Which wing do you think best describes hitler's Germany? Mussolini's Italy? Stalin's USSR? Mao's China?

Here in Oklahoma they’ve deer hunted with 15+ round mags full for quite some time. A person doesn’t need it but to each his own. Sometimes if the right (or wrong) group of hunters is behind my house it sounds like a small skirmish when they see a deer.

Here’s what I found concerning shotgun only states...

These states are inclusive of Illinois, Iowa, Ohio, Indiana, Maryland, New Jersey, Massachuetts, Delaware, Maine, and Rhode Island. Three states impose shotgun only restrictions on firearm hunters in designated areas. These include Minnesota, Michigan, and Virginia.

I think I read somewhere where Iowa has added a rifle season but I’m not certain.

Anyone who needs a 30-round ammo clip to hunt deer is obviously a terrible shot, and needs to spend much time on the target shooting range before progressing to the skilled sport of hunting.

Anyone who is shooting at ducks and quail with an AK-47 needs to be punched in the mouth and have their guns taken away.

is there something wrong with returning home with 29 rounds in the clip?.......

Um...

You can hunt with rifles in Ohio.

http://wildlife.ohiodnr.gov/hunting...pping-regulations/allowable-hunting-equipment

Straight-walled cartridge rifles in the following calibers: All straight-walled cartridge calibers from a minimum of .357 to a maximum of .50. Shotguns and straight-walled cartridge rifles can be loaded with no more than three shells in the chamber and magazine combined.

And there is no limitation against my AR-15, only the same limitation CO has. 3 rounds.

you just can't hunt sheep or OSU football players......(usually found together in dark places)........

I posted the law of Ohio that allows rifles. Same limit as CO, 3 rounds.

So it looks like the gun nuts, want a law that mass murders can only load three rounds in their semi
Automatic rifles

Nah, gun nuts seem to want to make it so the gun that looks "military" but fires the same rounds as another are in some way "banned" so they can feel safer. The gun sane just point at the 2nd Amendment, like they point at the 1st when people try to tell others what they can and cannot say or what god they cannot worship.

News flash we have mass murders several times a year, and school is about to start.
Do we do something to stop it?
Or is it business as usual!

We have mass murders nightly in Chicago and you don't care until some Warren Supporter shoots up Dayton? Racist.

Maybe they should make the most restrictive gun laws to solve that problem. (wait for it, maybe he'll catch on without your help)...

So it's business as usual, and it was
Toledo not Dayton.

Um... no, Warren supporter Connor Betts shot up Dayton. Who are you? Trump?

This is neither here nor there. I told you already what needs to be done if you are to do what you so dearly wish. Proffer an Amendment, otherwise you are just promoting business as usual and will still be branded a gun nut.

President Trump said it was Toledo, and several here say,Trump never lies!
Poor Toledo:palm:

Yes, I saw that post. It’s interesting to me that OH allows straight sided shells like a 357 or 44 mag. That would also include a 44-40, 45-70 govt and several other rifles chambered for such rounds. All are guns I prefer for deer hunting, but I don’t live in the wide open spaces either. A shot for me here at 100 yds is very uncommon.

The common denominator...restricted range when compared to a 30-06 and other necked down, modern cartridges.

Hence my question. Now we have the answer. From now on we'll call you by your legal name, President Trump. You must be happy so many are willing to support you. Too bad your leftist mask has been stripped and nobody will listen to you any longer, Trump.

So if I read this correctly, a NUMBER OF STATES have outlawed the assault rifle for 'game'. Just deer, other game? Of course I guess it wouldn't do much good to shoot a duck or quail with a one these. Kinda defeats the purpose if you want a bird for dinner.

Does ANYONE else find this more than just a little bit ironic? I didn't know this till 2 minutes ago.

Save your keystrokes, yes I K N O W you can't shoot people with them anywhere! But guns are for hunting, yet someone decided THESE guns are stupid to use on game or is it just not 'fair' to shoot an animal with them?

The AR-15 is often overlooked as a firearm that can be used for hunting game of all kinds. While there are laws that prohibit hunting with an AR-15 rifle in some states, below are some details about which AR-15 rifles should be used for hunting and where you can use them to hunt.

Know Hunting Laws

First, you should know the laws for hunting deer and other game with specific types of guns and ammunition in each state so that you don’t accidentally break the law when you start hunting. It’s best to look at the states that don’t allow deer hunting with .223 diameter bullet or an AR-15 rifle.

Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Iowa, Massachusetts, Virginia, Ohio, New Jersey, Washington, and West Virginia require larger bullets to be used to hunt game.
