I am new but not new?

I went to Patton Junior High one year and then Leavenworth Senior High. Good times.

You and I can agree to disagree on that point, but it depends upon how one defines "worst we've seen". Divisive? Constitutional violations? Abuse of office? Weakening our nation in the case of our enemies? I believe Trump tops all Presidents in all the categories.

Other Presidents have been corrupt, but I can't name a single one who weakened the United States against our enemies much less flagrantly violated our Constitution and his oath of office.

I truly understand your point, CA...but look at what is happening.
I totally get the concern over things like the National Guard being sent to cities and people not being happy about it. I separate that from the idea that mass violence is going to follow.

Online echo chambers have been predicting mass violence and new civil wars for years over different issues, and every time you hear, “this time it’s different.”

Remember how many White Supremacists wanted to start a civil war with the rumor about Jade Helm 15? These people are anti-American human scum. All patriotic Americans should be ready to put them down when they become violent and seek to murder innocent Americans.

Try it. Go join the other fucks causing riots, looting, arson, and insurrection in Portland, Chicago, and other cities. Get yourself arrested. You will LOSE!

They did. Many Americans marveled at the work Hitler did from 1933 until he annexed Austria and invaded Czechoslovakia in 1938. That's how Charles Lindburgh got himself into trouble.

*yawn*. More "Trump is a Nazi" BS. It's 2025, Sybil. Trump is not a Democrat.

I'll also clarify for you that, in my personal case, I wouldn't ever become violent even if I believe that an election result was illegitimate (as I believe about 2020). Why? Because I am a Christian who believes that such authority (whether legitimately or illegitimately gained, from an Earthly sense) is ultimately "given by God".

[Jesus to Pontius Pilate] "You would have no authority over me at all unless it had been given you from above" (John 19:11).

"There is no authority except that which comes from God, and those in positions of authority have been placed there by God". (Romans 13:1-2)
There was no election result in 2020. The election faulted. No one was elected.

Mass violence is already here, Wacko. Trump is trying to restore law and order.

Civil war has already started, Wacko. Democrats will LOSE!

And dont seem to be wanted.....I was thrown out of Debate Politics because the only tribe I am a part of is the Truth Tellers....it was decided that I was too annoying to have around because my kind gum up the tribal wars......I was given the option of either leaving on points or going voluntarily.
LOL, I was an absolute thorn in their side. I had so many 'infractions' by the end, I knew it was only a matter of time. I am not kidding you, one of the last infractions was issued for starting a reply to a libtard with, 'bless your heart'. Apparently that's a bit too far for many there to handle.

I do miss making the moderators defend their infractions and bans. Of course, they really didn't like being called out. One firm rule was you're not allowed to make mention of being spanked or banned by the moderators at all.

What do you suppose "it will be up to every patriotic American to take down as many MAGAts as they can" means?

It means exactly what it says. It is a call to violence.
That sounds like a call to violence to me. That sounds like a hate-filled heart to me.
It is a call to violence. The "hate-filled heart" is a stretch. I simply do not share that assessment.

I do not want to see violence, but anyone not opposing Trump right now is probably making some kind of violence...from both sides...inevitable.

My opinion only.

Okay. We will see.

I hope you are correct...just as I hope Evan is correct.

This time Trump is sending in the military to eradicate "the enemy within" meaning everyone who isn't a MAGAt.

Which side will you be on?

I'm glad that we can agree on that.

Interesting. Offhand, I can't think of a single act of violence towards someone that was done "out of love" for that someone. Can you?
I do not want to see violence,
Then I would suggest condemning any such calls for violence.
but anyone not opposing Trump right now is probably making some kind of violence...from both sides...inevitable.
How so? How am I making "some kind of violence" inevitable? I'm just living my life peaceably, like most citizens of this country are. I just happen to lack the hatred towards Trump that you possess.

I'm glad that we can agree on that.

Me too.
Interesting. Offhand, I can't think of a single act of violence towards someone that was done "out of love" for that someone. Can you?

No. Do you think that means it was done out of hate? Are you of the "you either love something or you hate it" school?

Think!
Then I would suggest condemning any such calls for violence.

Gotta be careful with that kind of thinking. If someone were attacking you violently...and the only reasonable way to protect yourself would be with violence...you might be tempted to use violence.

In damn near every way possible.

How am I making "some kind of violence" inevitable?

I said "probably." Why did you ignore that word?
I'm just living my life peaceably, like most citizens of this country are.

Good for you.

I just happen to lack the hatred towards Trump that you possess.
I do not have hatred towards Trump. If he were ever in need for help and I could offer it, I would do so in a heartbeat. He is a human...a fellow living creature on this planet. I have mentioned that dozens of times. I would, in fact, love to play a round of golf with him...although I doubt that will ever happen.

But he poses an existential threat to the Republic that we are supposed to protect...so I oppose him, his political agenda, the people who support him...and the people who are not actively opposing him.

If that bothers you...what can I say. Put me on IGNORE if you must.

I’ve been around a lot of forums over the past twenty years, and to tell you the truth, I can’t remember if I’ve been part of this one before or not — time’ll tell. Either way, hello to everyone here. Glad to be back if I am, and if not, happy to meet ya.
By the way, R. L. is one of my favorite Jeopardy! champs. I especially loved when he refused to cross the picket lines during the writer's strike.

Hello, Evan.

You are in for a different experience here in JPP. This place does not operate like some of the many others. (I've also been a contributor to 10 or more other fora...and NONE operate as freely as this one.)

Say what you have to say...and lots of people will respond. If you are thin skinned, this is probably not the place for youl.]

I hope you stick around.
Yes! @Evan Keal ,I think it's only fair you know up front, when conversing with Ross or who I call Corn Pop you're dealing with a two-time letter to the editor writer, I think it was Newsweek that published his work like thirty years ago. He thought it was important to let me know that so I'm just helping out. I'm really nice that way.
