Yes, I know all that so now try to rise above it while we try to discuss this in a sane manner. Has the UN been forbidden in the past from voicing it's opinions on where blame should be placed. Will the UN stop short of voicing it's position on where blame should be placed in the coming report?
Will the US forbid the UN from placing a suspicion of where the blame lies?
Have no doubt, that if that should happen then the US case for war will evaporate into nothing in the eyes of the world.
The UN will voice it's suspicions and those suspicions, if on the side of Assad's regime will be manufactured into positives by the US propagandists.
But before that, remind me what side you're taking on this rush to war.

When Bush started Iraq war which was against the will of people, nothing happened. Even when he was proved a lier (WMD), he was still selected for second term. This is a totalitarian country. Most things are fake. Civil rights; election; Constitution..... all are of a cover value. It is a dictatorship. Everything is under domestic control.

Intelligent and thoughtful Americans probably know all this. But they also know that their country can't be stopped in conventional ways because it is too powerful militarily.
That leaves stopping it in other ways such as economic pressures or non-military strikes of the nature of the attack on the WTC. However, Americans are still mostly of the opinion that they are invincible and immune from attack.
Well, maybe they are but also as likely is that they aren't.
This has a lot to do with the careless attitude and the careless rhetoric being expressed on forums such as this. Americans are likely to make a decision on going to war if at least it's suggested (not promised) that none of theirs will die in the war.

I wanted to give them the choice to be anonymous and thereby register their vote in case they didn't want to go public. But I certainly didn't expect that they wouldn't have the courage to be forthwith and honest about it. It's a little ridiculous to expect that they would have registered their vote now isn't it.
However, as I've said, you can do the same poll over again and make it public.

I didn't vote in he stupid poll because there wasn't a choice for Obama doing nothing because he is all bluster and talk with very little walk.

But if the initiative fails and there is war then Obama losed bigtime regardless of what trumped up phony reason is made by the rabid right to get a war.
Sadly, there's little doubt that some excuse will be found for war. The US has reasons much bigger than chemical weapons for a war that will cut out the Russians in their sphere of influence. Through Wesley Clarke they were stupid enough to tell us a long time ago. Syria's toast, just like Iraq and for no more honourable reason.
