How can Trump walk away from the court as a free man

A: Doesn't matter. They have their own misinformation system. They trust one another and social media rumors over the actual professional news media. In their eyes, Trump can do no wrong. Just like Trump said. He could shoot someone on 5th Avenue and not lose any support. Magas will support him no matter what. Trump owns the resentment vote. People who resent the system, think all our institutions are 'out to get them.' They think Trump speaks for them. Trump says when he gets arrested it is: "radical liberal Democrats doing something to our country," and all the magas then wave American flags and think by defending Trump they are defending America. That is so messed up.

Here is a little wisdom which escapes them:

1. Never listen to a preacher who tells you how to vote.

2. Never listen to a politician who tells you how to pray.

And 3: Never listen to a draft-dodger who tries to tell you what patriotism is.

Fox is professional news media and they just had to pay out almost a billion dollars for lying.

The others are no better.

And I don't follow social media, I follow court cases, not of which have produced a single conviction against Trump.

Maybe you guys need better lawyers.

The others are certainly better if they didn't have to settle on a lying suit.

Has PBS Newshour ever had to settle a lying lawsuit?

That's a pretty reliable news source. It's worth checking out. Good reputation.

They settled for lying on one issue, not general news.

PBS newshour doesn't have the resources to cover breaking news like Fox does.

None of them do.

It's also important to remember that Fox was never found guilty of lying, they settled out of court to make the case go away as the loss from negative press would be greater than what they had to pay.

And what they had to pay is about a month of profit for Fox.

Hardly damaging.

Jack Smith was working with Lois Lerner in the IRS scandal that targeted conservatives which they got busted for.

The lost profits are only part of what they lost.

They lost credibility and recognition. They have become tabloid, disrespected. That has happened over a long period of time and this settlement for lying sealed the deal.

Anyone who still listens to Fox only wants to be told what they want to hear. They are not being told the full story. Viewers simply wish to be infotained. Fox viewers are less well informed than people who don't watch any news at all. That's how bad it is. For them, the peer group is more important than being informed. Just to demonstrate how mixed up they are, many of them still think the 2020 election was stolen!

It's nothing but a show trial.

The only law Trump broke was actually taking the documents in the first place but if they charge him with that they also have to charge Biden and they won't do that.

This is why he is not charged with that even though it's the only actual crime he committed.
