If Johnson and Shriver are no longer running those programs, HOW can what other administrations did to continue those programs be a reflection of their performance? Does John Elway's interception total go up every time Orton or Tebow put a ball in the opponent's hands?

Even though LBJ cut funding to the War on Poverty to pay for Vietnam shortly after it was up and running, Sarge still made it extremely successful. There is no denying that fact, unless you are so cynical that you can't offer any credit to competent people like Shriver. If liberals had not lost power in America, I have NO DOUBT America would be a much better country. The middle class would still be thriving and America would have remained the 'city upon the hill'. But right wingers like you don't understand value, because you were never taught them.

Next time genius, if you wish to only talk about what happened in the few years Johnson and Shriver were a part of the war on poverty, you should state as such. Regardless of how you wish to define the conversation NOW.... the war on poverty was a complete failure. It did NOTHING to improve poverty. NOTHING.

Side note moron... the POLICIES put in place by Johnson and Shriver are still in place for the most part. They are simply part of other agencies.
