‘Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, the right-wing Republican from Georgia, did not appreciate being threatened by the White House over her backing for a bill ordering the release of the Epstein files.

So after a Trump official put out word that doing so would be viewed as a “very hostile act,” she called a top West Wing aide to push back.

“I told them, ‘You didn’t get me elected. I do not work for you; I work for my district,’” she recounted recently during a wide-ranging interview in her office on Capitol Hill. “We aren’t supposed to just be whipped on our votes because they’re telling us what to do with this scary threat, or saying ‘We’ll primary you,’ or that we won’t get invited to the White House events.”’

For now, one day, not so far away, a liberal, not a Joe Biden moderate, but a real liberal will become president and that person will have too much power due to Trump having removed the guardrails.

The two assassination attempts were not attempted by liberals, and trying to or falling for the attempt to make people believe it was “the liberals” pushes more political violence not less.

Be more responsible.

Many far left loons in Congress would not even vote to condemn the murder of Charlie Kirk or to honor him.

The assassination attempts on President Trump were not done by conservatives, they were done by people who hate Trump.

Try to be a bit more honest.

A silly resolution doing nothing. Not everyone who hates Trump is a liberal.

These people were both quite clearly insane.

America has been ignoring Iran, so they have been growing in strength lately. They are executing their own people like crazy, and have even got the USA to deport dissidents to Iran. The USA has not been enforcing sanctions as much as punishment for Israel bombing Qatar. India is buying more oil from Iran, because trump is randomly punishing them.

The lack of attention is really causing trouble, but trump has trouble paying attention to too many things.

Seems they were not political. They were done by crazy people who can get guns in our system. One shooter tracked a Dem nominee around the country looking for a chance at him. The Repub happenened to have a rally in a location he was in, so he shot at him instead. Rightys read too much into a case because they want to believe something.

trump may not always chicken out, but he does usually chicken out. I doubt he is brave enough to do anything likely to create large numbers of American casualties.

I do not see an obvious way to remove trump from office before the midterms, or even after the midterms, with the obvious exception of death. It would take 67 Senators, so more than a third of the Republicans would have to vote to convict trump. After the midterm, it might be a little easier... But not much. A huge chunk of Republicans would have to be convinced to vote for impeachment.

The Republicans are very much a party of trump. It would take a lot for so many to turn on trump.

The reason totalitarians go after the comedians is that the comedians make it alright to disagree. That gets everyone thinking of disagreeing.
