GAME OVER FOR FANI WILLIS !

I still believe you are deliberately pretending to be missing information like Trump's attorney talking about such options because they believe that the Judge did not go far enough and that many believe that the judge would approve it because Fani's office stinks of malfeasance...

But fair enough, just pulled an article talking about it rather than the one that quoted Trump's attorney, how about MSDNC then? It seems likelier in this case than in many other cases where I never suggested such a thing might happen.

I suspect they might try it. The law however is clear, the fact of an appearance of impropriety is not enough, there needs to be evidence of actual financial benefit to Willis, and I feel it is clear that based on the evidence they came up with, Trump would just lose again.

Such an appeal would not delay the case, and it would cost Trump a lot of money, so I think it is an open question if he believes keeping this issue open would be worth the money or not.

But you would be pleased if this "incompetent" were thrown off the case.

Incompetents should always be told the equivalent of Go stand in that corner and keep your mouth shut... I don't know for sure if Willis is a halfway competent lawyer or not, but my suspicion after watching her testify is that she isn't. She got where she did on affirmative action and no one willing to challenge her incompetence. In fact, it's very possible she was promoted up due to it.

That isn't uncommon in bureaucracies, particularly government ones. A promotion up, particularly for a minority or female, is an easy way to get rid of a problem you have in your department or whatever by making that person someone else's problem. Firing them is impossible, and fair discipline is often difficult to manage due to their protected status as a minority and / or female.

This sort comes to recognize they are untouchable, and they gain a certain arrogance as a result. It's only when their arrogance and belief in their invincibility collide with some train wreck of criminal or massively costly incompetent activity that they suddenly find themselves being charged, disciplined severely, or fired. It usually comes as a shock to them too. Their response is along the lines of You can't fire me, I'm a Black woman! I've seen that sort of thing happen more than once.

But he said he would, on day one! Remember? Did you believe him? Many of his disciples did.

I said the same thing back then. There is nothing more permanent than a temporary government (giveaway) program. These guys promise craptons of stuff they don't deliver on, pretending it is a Trump phenomena is just blatant purposeful ignorance.

Of course, back then I was also saying that Trump would never win the nomination... Man, was I wrong on that one.

It is simply used much more by Trump than others, and believed more fervently by his supporters.

Many of them believe he built the wall, Mexico paid for it, and that he won the 20' election. (to the extent they stormed the Capital over it.)

Nah, you just pay more attention because you dislike Trump more than the others. There has never been a person running for that office that didn't promise the moon but deliver a ball of clay.

POTUS can only sign bills that reach his/her desk.

Anytime that they promise anything other than their best effort,
they're full of shit.

The REAL problem is that they HAVE to do it.

You can't speak truth to an alarmingly stupid electorate and expect to win.

Haha, ok. If you say so.

Tell me something akin to Trump claiming Mexico DID pay for the wall. Or that He actually even built the wall he promised.

Or most spectacularly that he in fact won the 20 election.

You don't think Stay in Mexico cost Mexico anything? And he built hundreds of miles of wall. Pretending otherwise is your own thing. I get that.

Though once again.... You asked me what I said about this crap back then...

I said, "How? How will Mexico pay for the wall?"... and other things much like that. I also said that Trump wouldn't win the nomination, because I thought he wouldn't.

Anyway, he built about 452 miles of border wall, about 80 of those miles were built in areas that never had a wall before, the rest were places where he removed ineffectual fencing and replaced it with the newly minted wall style we saw back in that day. There were also materials to make many more miles that Biden just got rid of just before he started building some of the wall himself....

Anyway, here's a link about the wall stuff... That's one of the promises he was delivering on, though "Make Mexico pay for it!" was a pie in the sky one. The best he could have done is make Mexicans sending money home pay for it through fees associated with transferring money to relatives South of the border. Though I don't think Congress passed anything like that...

I do not think it was hundreds of miles, in fact I am pretty sure it was less than a hundred. I am sure 'stay in Mexico costs money' but I am also sure that is not "paying for a wall".

Do you have an example of a lie told by Biden that people believed as fervently as those who stormed the capital on 1/6?

Do you believe Trump Built the wall he promised and said would be easy to built?
Do you believe Mexico paid for this wall?

I'm pretty sure you didn't read the article I linked to or even my whole post.

Remember when Biden promised that not one foot more of wall would be built? Yeah, good times...

Here he is building walls: https://www.texastribune.org/2023/10/05/biden-border-wall-texas-starr-county/

I didn't, but you did not answer my questions about your claims.

Which claims, that nobody runs for that office without promising stuff that Presidents cannot do? Promising the moon but presenting you with a ball of clay?

Those ones?

Remember when Biden promised that not one foot more of wall would be built? Yeah, good times... He didn't even promise good things then fail at them, he promised to do nothing and failed at that.

The reality is folks running for President have plans, that almost always get mucked up by Congress... Because we have this thing where there is a balance of power.

Ok, I am very glad I read it...

Is a fence a wall?
Is 80 miles of new border, a wall from 'sea to shining sea'?
Is rebuilding an existing wall, the same thing trump claimed when he said he would build a wall?

You do not see me running around pretending Biden didn't build some of the wall. You don't see Biden supporters pretending he did shit he did not do.

I am glad he is building some walls, some are necessary. What was stupid as shit was the promise to build one from sea to 'shining sea', and that people fell for it.

What is ridiculous is that people are still pretending he did, and that Mexico paid for it.

There is a difference. You refuse to see it.

Again... What was I saying when he made these promises? Be honest. (here's a hint, I put some of what I was saying in this very thread).

Though... What he promised was being done. And fence/wall... you're reaching. You know if he stayed in office there would have been more built, you just pretend that he just wasn't doing anything... which of course he was. You folks were upset about it.

The reality. Mexico was paying for the folks who "Remain in Mexico" so in a way they were paying though it was a ball of clay and not the moon he promised... Though I said back then, just as I say now that the only possible way to make Mexicans pay for that wall is to attach a fee to folks sending money into Mexico, and that hasn't happened. You and I agreed back then that Mexico wasn't going to pay for the wall...

Anyway, you just notice stuff from Trump more because you dislike him more. And you are willing to accept those balls of clay you get from the folks you like more. You get them and pretend they are the moon...

And you didn't see me running around claiming Trump built a wall "from sea to shining sea" nor even suggesting he would be able to... You seem incapable of being honest about what I said and did, or you are projecting onto me things that you know were not from me. What I said remains a Truism...

Nobody runs for that office without promising the Moon but delivering a Ball of Clay... Even when Jarod likes them.

You and I seem to agree that Trump did not keep his central campaign promise from the 2016 campaign.

So give me an example of where Biden made a central campaign promise that 1) he failed to keep and 2) that a ferverant band of his supporters believed he kept?

Show me an example of where Biden told such a whopper, and his supporters were so in thrall they believed it to the extent that the attacked the Capital of the United States of America with the goal of preventing the legal transfer of power?

Because you are not one of them. I did not claim you did. I am claiming the Trumppers did this, and that Trump has a particularly delusional band of supporters who fall for his constant stream of huge incredible lies.
