Deep-Level Post Election Analysis and Myth Addressing by yours truly

again, the data that you want to ignore suggests this is not the case. only 19% of voters voted for jones out of anti-trump sentiment. Conversly 27% of moore voters voted out of pro-trump sentiment, giving trump an overall net effect of +8pts for roy moore in this race. Again, to reiterate, the vast majority of jones voters were NOT voting out of anti trump sentiment. You have no data to back this up. I have actual data, you have your woo woo bullshit and feels. get on my level.

You are presented with a categorical variable issue, please apply the GoodmanKruskal fractional variable package to you data regression and report back. Get on my level.

You have exit polling. I can set up a poll to achieve any result I want, simply by creating loaded questions.

Dem. voters will continue to come out in droves, as a direct rebuke of the pussy grabber. You have no evidence to the contrary. I can't get past the WAPO paywall to view the poll, and corresponding data/sampling

You're basing your conclusions solely on exit polls.

If being on your level means cherrypicking facts and drawing selective conclusions, no thanks.

Yep. I'd like to see the sampling from his polling. I'm not going to subscribe to WAPO just to view it.

And in lay terms some may have voted against Moore in part from antipathy for Trump or for Roy in part but not totally because of affinity to Trump.

Lies lies and statistics.

Your logic doesn’t follow, if Alabama voted huge for Trump and still support him, why didn’t they vote for his candidate?
This is what I’m trying to wrap my head around. Grind is claiming it has nothing to do with Trump or allegations, so I’m trying to figure out why Moore lost, if neither of these played a part.

I think the exit data indicates Moore’s defeat would have been by a larger number had he not had Trumps support.

The point Grind is making is you can’t tie the data to extrapolate support for Trump or predicting election outcomes as clearly Moore was a statistical outlier.

It's hilarious to see that some of the people saying that polls are an unreliable indicator are the same people who cite polls as "proof" in other threads.

just remember this the next time you talk about who believes in polls and who doesn't.

Jones won by a whisker. That he barely won over an accused pedophile doesn't say much for Jones. Trump didn't need the grief, distraction and drama that would have resulted from a Moore win. Pubs will win the seat back in the upcoming AL election which is just around the corner.

Yet, Trump endorsed him, campaigned for him, made a robocall for him.

Sorry - I didn't realize you were logically challenged.

Where did I say that polls aren't accurate? All I said was that they are just part of the picture of what happened yesterday. I believe the exit polls you cite - but you conclude that they show that there is nothing to read into for anti-Trump sentiment or enthusiasm.

Those facts can be found in the turnout #'s.

Man, how stupid is that? I thought you were all intellectually superior & all that? What an idiotic thing for you to say.
