Christmas is racist

Actually, Christmas was created as a rival celebration. It was wildly successful. How many pagans are there today, as compared to Christians? ;)

"Our ancient heritage"? Are you a pagan Jack?

Must be, both him and his internet girlfriend. You know, the internet girlfriend who mysteriously vanished from JPP...

:)

I don't 'hate' Christians. Just pointing out their tendency to re-write history. They love to take over things and claim it as 'theirs'.

Originally, 'In God We Trust' was never on our coinage. Then, thanks to the Jesus Freaks, it was placed on our currency.
Originally, the Pledge of Allegiance didn't have 'Under God' in it. Thanks to the Jesus Freaks, now it does.

The Jesus Freaks live in an imaginary world where there are Man-Gods, Angels, Saints, and Demons ... AND ... people can talk to these imaginary entities (through prayer). Now, most people on the Planet could care less what these people do, along with ME. The PROBLEM is ... they try to ram their Mythology down the throats of everyone else.

Let me repeat that: "They try to ram their Mythology down the throats of everyone else". Did you grasp that?

No one is interested in seeing their Crosses on every mountain top. Do you want to see Call to Prayer minarets on every street corner? Yeah, me neither.
No one is interested in having the Ten Commandments in front of every Courthouse. Do you want to see Mohammad holding a Koran in front of every Courthouse? Yeah, me neither.
No one is interested in having 'Prayer' in School, a Learning Center. Do you want kids bringing Prayer Rugs to Learning Centers? Yeah, me neither.

Did ANY of that register?

I want ME and my KIDS to live in REALITY.
I'm not interested in Moses and his "We're the Chosen People" and his "God gave us this Land" bullshit line.
I'm not interested in "My name is Jesus, and I'm a Man-God" tale.
I'm not interested in Allah and his Prophet Mohammad with their "Women are Cows, so they must wear these Cow Blankets" idiocy.
Fuck That Shit!

If the Sun is the Center of the Solar System, don't keep telling me the Earth is the Center of the Universe. I'm not interested in a bunch of dumb-ass shit.

Did any of that help, RB?

Jesus Freaks is not an insult, it is a compliment it means I am seen living my life with God at the center. No one I repeat no one wants to or can force their belief down your throat, if so give me an example. As for Crosses, ten commandments memorials not one person is making you look at them.

If you care so little, stop complaining so much, about something that cannot possibly effect you.

You put whatever you want up next to the cross or ten commandments, do not care, but do not infringe on my rights to celebrate God the way I want to, trust me if you don't want to know I will not tell you. You as Romans 1 states have been given over to a reprobate mind, I a can only hope your children will see the light.

Again if you do not care stop whining!

See!

Notice the difference? Shriners help Children.
Christians? Spanish Inquisition.

We all get to choose.

My problem is 'Christians' always try to take over everybody else's 'Sacred Days' ... and call them their own. Why can't 'Christians' just make up their own Holidays ... like Kwanza did?

Catholics Spanish inquisition!

Big difference is racism is quite real, and Santa's fake.

You could have fooled me. Santa is much more powerful a force than jesus.

The tenets of Christianity as they stand in America today:

1. Join a church containing people of your race and socioeconomic status
2. Grudgingly go on Sunday for an hour half listening to excepts from a boring book you never bothered to read or stare at the hot slut in the pew three over
3. Come home to worship football and forget whatever they said at church, ignore your rugrats
4. Celebrate your holy days by logging onto Amazon and buying corporate labeled nondurables for people you never bother to even visit, calculating a return take in excess of expenditure
5. Mail courtesy copies of a vainglorious bio sketch of your wonderbread family's annual achievements and bulk mail said same note to all your frenemies with a glossy of your family posing at the beach wearing white shirts and khakis
6. Lord over your neighbors the selection of your christmas decorations as the best in the neighborhood by shaking your fist out the window in angst ridden triumphalism "take THAT, Ms Kawalski!!!!"
7. Vote for the most hate filled administration in history with all the wrong political ends and means.
8. Yell at your wife or husband letting your demon seed inherit all your profanity laced grunts and tirades
9. Lather rinse and repeat

I think that #3 is the only sin I would be at risk of committing.

I'll 'stop whining' when you make up your own Holidays' and STOP trying to take over The Traditions of Our Ancestors. The Winter Solstice Tradition is based on scientific fact (shortest day of the year), not some fantasy Man-God you guys created in your mind.

It was established before Protestantism was invented, so, there would be little distinction.

And it was, The Inquisition, a slaughter/a genocide, to alter the perceptual reality of the tribes of Europe. And is was so successful, that by the time the descendants of the tribes of Europe got to the "new" world, they didn't even recall what it meant to be a human being. There were by then the property of the male dominator god, as was all they "found" for "him".

True, if you really are one. I like the hippie kind- spaced out peacenik jesus freaks.

Not many of those exist. American Christians are as I described. Especially Presbyterians in the wealthier parts of Connecticut.

"Today, many people in Western-based cultures refer to this holiday as "Christmas." Yet a look into its origins of Christmas reveals its Pagan roots. Emperor Aurelian established December 25 as the birthday of the "Invincible Sun" in the third century as part of the Roman Winter Solstice celebrations. Shortly thereafter, in 273, the Christian church selected this day to represent the birthday of Jesus, and by 336, this Roman solar feast day was Christianized. January 6, celebrated as Epiphany in Christendom and linked with the visit of the Magi, was originally an Egyptian date for the Winter Solstice."

A Celebration of the Sun.

Looks like the Christians took a Pagan festival and actually did something good with the day.

Depends on who you're talking about.

Well, ONE group is the People that Celebrate Our Ancient Heritage, the Winter Solstice and what it stands for. The 'Death' and 'Resurrection' of the Sun (on the shortest day of the year). The 'Rebirth' of Our Planet, the Only Home We All Have.

It's really awe inspiring to see the wisdom of Ancient People. A beautiful remembrance of our connection with Nature, Earth, and the Sun.
