Funny thing is that gays don't do anything that lots of straights don't also do. In fact, since they comprise such a smaller part of the population, I would bet more straights do those things than gays. But they are suitable parents?

My agenda is to try and make sure none of our citizens are mistreated by ignorant neanderthals. I am making progress, whereas you are losing ground.

Your post is not saying anything of substance. We all eat and crap, laugh, cry, etc. Of course there are things we all do.

What is your definition of "suitable parents"? That's the point. A NORMAL healthy family is a mother and father and children. That is the American culture we want to maintain. Strong healthy families make America stronger and healthier.

And lets face facts, you are not interested in free speech unless it is the speech you approve of, and your free speech is intended to promote bigotry and hate. Rana wants everyone to have the same opportunities. You want only certain people to be able to teach, marry or whatever.

Well, certainly not orthodox and the average person has sex with someone of the opposite sex and haveing sex with someone of the same sex is a significant deviation from having sex with someone of the opposite sex.

I am not playing dumb. I am playing WITH dumb. Artificial insemination was developed so infertile couples could have children. That fits here too.

But regardless of why it was developed, the fact that it exists shoots down the whole "marriage is to encourage children to be born with two parents" ideas.

Having two parents who love each other and the child is what makes a family. Studies have shown no difference between children raised by gays and children raised by straights.

I sound more American than you and Rana. America has been doing just fine and progressing very well without queers marrying and raising children. If you want to be queers, fine. You're free to do that. Mind your own business and we'll mind ours. We're gonna fight back and stand up to you when you try to demean our institutions. That is hatred, bigotry, and un-American on your part. Queers are not normal.

I don't get people who think that normal for them should be normal for me, I have resented people trying to place me in a "box" my whole life. Why do they want cookie cutter people? NWhy do they think everyone should be like them, which I consider abnormal when compared to myself ;)

Nope, Wrong, what is normal for you, ay not be normal for me. We are all individuals and I allow people to live and let live, except in the case of those people who wish to do harm to others, that is where I draw the line.
