I forgot to type by your standards after my first sentence, sorry. All married couples are normal by their own standards. I believe we have evolved to a point today that normal is moot.
 
There was a time in our society that you had to do what was perceived as normal in order to fit in, I do hope we are evolving past all of that with time. I dislike the word "normal"

As to your second part, regarding paternaty: It can also be shown that he is the father, through DNA, if they weren't married.

???? I answered your question. And Im 51 yrs old. Been married 1 1/2 of those 51 years, back in the 80s. Im not seeking government blessings. Since you havent quite figured out what is going on with prop 8, it is the homosexuals who soooooooo desparately seek government blessing of their relationship. Seeking "respect" from the rest of society and "dignity" for themselves, believing that government endorsement will bring them.

Homosexuality is perversion. The definition of perversion is whatever is out of the norm. Humans are normally heterosexual. Homosexuality in humans has always been considered perverse and unacceptable because of our founding Christian/Judeo principles and culture. The last 40 years have been a constant drumbeat to accept homosexuality as normal or be considered a bigot. Not buying it.

You have the right to be homosexual in the USA. I have no problem with that. I have a problem with teaching children that it is normal. Get that crap out of our schools.
